Does anyone ever actually talk in the BritGAF IRC? All I see are the same 2 guys idling by. And I'd really like a face to face chat.

Heh. Lucky for me, I was approved within a month.

We get taken by fads fairly easily. We've had an IRC fad, now is that Whatsapp fad, although it seems we're filtering back into the main thread a bit more.

And by all means come to a meet for the face to face (to groin) action, I think the next one will be in London in December.

Yeah brah you know this! Even though work is super dead while the kids are out on hols I get to wake up at 9 and saunter in late, it's amazing. And nobody seems to care. I love working here.

Yeah, Regular John is an awesome song and my favourite from the album. But my favourite song of theirs is probably the first song i heard by them: The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret. Then maybe In the Fade.

Fave QOTSA? Damn that's a hard question. A toss up between "Make it wit chu" (only good post-Songs for the Deaf song until this record, and even that is a rework of a Desert Sessions track) and "I was a teenage hand model" for me.

Yeah, his Desert Sessions stuff was awesome, and so exhaustive! My mate has the full box set; PJ Harvey, Mark Lanegan, John Freese, Dean Ween, etc, clearly too much awesome for one disc.

Suture Up Your Future is my favourite track from Era Vulgaris though, love that hazy jam at the end, you can almost smell the peyote:
