Best method to do doge: not to do it at all.that isn't how you doge
Best thing about work this week was taking some stuff into the basement and getting stuck down there for an hour. Some reason the basement has no "call" button for the lift which is only way to get in or out of it.
Cue me surfing around on office chairs listening to iPod until somebody noticed i was gone for far too long
You sure you're not linking some YOOF's car bass by mistake?http://imgur.com/a/Zyg4y - For those of you interested in computer porn. For those not, see image below and convert:

Good to see you posting Jordan, where you been these days mane?
Also, funny you should be posting PC stuff, one of my housemates just got a whizzbang new PC. NEW TOYS! Going to head up and nerd out with him in a minute.
It's one of those iMac style ones where it's all built in to the monitor. Basic specs as you'll probably be interested:
i5 processor (6 cores I think)
8gb of RAM
2gb of VRAM
Not sure on the graphics card
Crysis first up, the benchmark. Yiss.
No. In Norwich (alone out of the entire UK and bits of France, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Spain) nobody would talk to me.
Oh, sod it. PM me your phone number and we'll have a chat if you are that bored!
Reminds me of an office I went to in Uxbridge once which needed coded swipecards to get everywhere, including the toilets. Some guy kindly let me into the toilet but didn't ,mention I would need a swipecard to get out again.
Was in there a while.
Argh. If I had not paid of my PS4 pre order from ShopTo I could have ordered one from Amazon US and got it on Tuesday and for £20/30 cheaper
Anyone still getting a launch PS4? I've had one pre-ordered since May or so but I think I'm going to cancel and just get one next year when inFamous releases.
I don't think I have the patience to wait for nextgen MGSV. I want it asap, gimme that current gen version I don't give a fuck
I was once like this, MGS3 was out and Kojima could do no wrong....
but now I still remember MGS4 exists.
MGS4 was great though. Disclaimer - I played all of the MGS games in the space of 2 weeks earlier this year and it was glorious.
like a fat child eating 20 chicken nuggets.
I'm really not arsed about next gen quite yet. I still have loads of good stuff in my backlog, and I just don't trust the launch run of consoles not to fall over after a few months.
I'll wait until there is a decent library, a more reliable machine and maybe a price cut.
And MGS is whack. MGS1 was god tier, the first hour or so of 2 was amazing, never played 3, 4 was an absolute train wreck of a game, horrendous stuff.
Splinter Cell baby! You actually get to play rather than watch.
The food stuff alone makes three the best. "How does it taste?" I would listen to all of those codecs and laugh my arse off.
I've just always preferred Splinter Cell. 100% control over the camera, much more fluid movement, more interactivity in the environments, the light and dark mechanic, Amon Tobin, etc.
MGS has a wicked score and that's about it for me. I find the movement robotic and restrictive, the constant interruptions for dull, loquacious dialogue infuriating, the story laughably convoluted ("but why did 'x' happen Hideo-San?" "Oh, uh, nanomachines?") and the gameplay too fragmented and inconsistent, especially 4.
Fisher 4 Lyfe.

Sweet, I'll give the new one a try. I always fancied the Thief games, seems right up my street. If you haven't already I recommend playing the old Thief games. They're basically proto-splinter cell only with an amazing atmosphere and setting. Plus first person stealth games are insanely intense.
Also no matter how shit MGS4 was, it was still better than Conviction.
Fair play Jed, at least you admit their shortcomings. My mate is a mad keen MGS fan, and he just won't acknowledge the faults! I remember complaining that I could only pan the camera left and right like 30 degrees when in cover on MGS4, he insisted that was intentional because Kojima didn't want you using it.tbh I don't know if I could tell you why I enjoyed them so much, they are objectively pretty bad games. Mechanically fucked, frustrating as all hell, terrible checkpointing, some of the worst dialogue in any media...
but it's just so charming and earnest and tongue in cheek and knowing and retarded. Glad I jumped in at least.
It's great shorty. I'm really enjoying it. It's much more of a stealth 'em up than Conviction too. No Ironside though! You guys tried SC: Blacklist? The previews did look good.

What a dull and boring post.Just lurking really. Not much going on in my life at the moment so posts will just be dull and boring.
Sweet. Story gripped me when I saw the previews back in 2012. Only other splinter cell game I was played was 1 and 2 so will pick up Blacklist if I see it at the shops.
I think you're overthinking this.Any Splinter Cell fan will tell you Chaos Theory was best; you really need to play that if you enjoyed the others Shorty.
Also, about MGS...
The problem I have with it is a problem I have with so many Japanese games. The over-indulgent narratives. I tried with MGS4, I really did. But the content of the cutscenes did not justify the length. I think i got to the third cutscene where a young girl goes downstairs to make eggs, apparently reaching sexual climax with each step judging by the noises she makes and was just like "enough" and gave it back to my friend. And that's the other thing, why does almost every female character in Japanese video games apparantly orgasm at the slightest hint of physical exertion? Is it supposed to be cute or endearing? I just don't get it.

Hot water wasn't working so I decided 'fuck university for today'
Kinda worried they might get mad and try to kick me out despite the fact that my grades are good. Will probably have to send an email off about that.
This genuinely bothers me too.
