In other news, I'm taking Zahra on the London Eye tomorrow & I think we're going to head to Five Guys for some burgers.
The only question - where else should I take her, after lunch? She's new to London, so I'm doing a touristy-date. I was thinking either the dungeons or the aquarium. Maybe there's something else local to Leicester Square/Covent Garden that I'm completely blanking on...?
EDIT: OK, maybe not the dungeons - she's terrified of people in masks & I'm pretty sure they'll be there in force.

Mikeside, have fun with Zahara tomorrow buddy boy, sounds like a good date! I'd advise against Five Guys though, bland and overpriced IMO. It was fine, but just a bit boring. Take her to Burger King instead and buy her a nice diamond bracelet with the money you save.

A bit of a walk along the river might be nice, actually. If the weather holds out, I think I might suggest that. I'm sure we could always grab a bus from Tower Bridge to Shoreditch.

It was fine when we went in the summer, the Cajun fries were incredible, and the coca cola machine a thing of beauty.
I just found the actual burger really boring. It was just minced meat, mashed into a patty. No seasoning, no onion or anything, just kind of bland.
When you get very little change out of £20 for a burger and fries, I was expecting to be blown away. Instead I had a perfectly edible burger.

If memory serves me right (and if you walk back to London Bridge train station) the numbers 47 and 149 should take you to the Liverpool Street area (that's Shoreditch right?!).

Nothing dodgy. It just switches itself off every so often. I think there's something wrong with the power cable but I can't really be bothered to look into it. You can have the games too - Virtua Tennis 2, Crazy Taxi, Marvel vs Capcom and Space Channel 5.
You could pay me if you want to, but maybe give a tenner to your favourite charity?
The kicker is that I'm not posting it anywhere, you'll have to meet me down a dark alley to pick it up (Manchester central).

First console with analogue triggers too. Feathering the throttle to hold a big sweeping powerslide in MSR was a revelation. I loved that the internal clock dictated the time of day in the various countries you raced in too. It's such a little detail, but it blew my tiny mind at the time.
