I went to see Kaguya, it was incredible but by the end I was like
But it ended pretty late so it was like town transformed into a bad Left 4 Dead level while I was in there.

Mates made me play it just so they can see my reaction. As I said I don't do well with games like that
Example:
They made me play Outlast in a dark room with giant speakers either side of my head. My phone vibrated on the desk in the middle of my play through and I jumped hard etc etc
Still though just because the project may be cancelled is that reason not to give it a go?
pt isn't a great EP though, it's a walking jumpscare simulator. It's more like saying you should ignore a CD filled with static noise with obscured voice clips in it which after about 30mins ends with "we're making a new album, please buy it" and then then split up.

Sounds like sploatee and Screaming Meat's more "leftfield" music recommendations.
Also, you appear to be particularly jaded and cynical about games in my experience, I think I'll try it for myself and make up my own mind.

Yeah but still in your example, because it is so weird you'd probably still tell people about it and they will listen to bit's of it.
pt is just a free, quick shock game that only (I imagine) has any impact when played for the first time. I still think that's still more than enough reason just to download it, play it and show other people regardless of whether the project is cancelled or not.
It's the next gen equivalent of telling your mates to complete that maze game on that website where the ring lady jumps out at you.

Hey, I didn't say not to play it! I can just understand not really bothering with something that was created to promote something that'll now likely never happen (it might still, though tbf).
You're not wrong mind, especially with horror games (pt included), there seems to have been this big resurgence of them which on paper seems really good, but it just seems to me now that modern horror games are made for obnoxious youtube videos that idiots facecam. (edit: which I guess is pretty ironic since I watched PT on a youtube video with facecam)
With PT particularly I was concerned about its reliance on jump scares which is something Silent Hill never really did. Some honestly unnerving stuff though, and it's not like that would even transfer into whatever the full game would have been.

Well this weekend us lot went out on Saturday and Sunday was on the sofa with a hangover playing games and watching trailer park boys whilst feasting on left over pizza.

Nice to see you all (ish) on Saturday. Kind of wish we'd come a bit earlier to catch up properly, but it's a good job we left seeing as I was way more drunk than I thought and went into stereotypical drunk girl crying mode and E's legs nearly fell off. Dark Souls.
Should've eaten something before we joined you but I thought 'nah, I'll be fine. Get doubles woo!' Souls.
Hopefully I didn't act like too much of a numpty. The coach ride home was agony but we went to Richmond Tea Rooms on the way back so that was nice. Dark Souls.

Not really, but most of the wrestlers at Wrestlemania should've gone into retire-MINT long ago.
Eh, there was quite a few newer wrestlers in there and they've given the title to one of them that is actually good instead of the guy with the charisma of a soggy piece of toast.

I think you caught me after my 6th cocktail so I was ever so slightly gone myself. Chatting with you was a mini highlight along with biting mikes thumb and beating jed in an arm wrestle. I did enjoy the "go, be young" parting comment too. In my head I was like "I will sensei! For you!" Then danced away to cheesy music and fell asleep in a nightclub.
