I realized recently that I have more games than I will play in the next 30 years, so I am purging my collection. Not looking to make a ton of money, so most of these are going cheap.

All games are complete unless stated otherwise. Game condition ranges from well used to sealed/never opened. All games work perfectly. Single games >$10 are in near mint to mint condition. Will ship to the US and Canada. Canadians can pay in Canadian. No point in letting Paypal make extra cash from both of us on currency exchange.

FOR SALE

Boom Blox (missing manual)
Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon
Hasbro Family Game Night
Cranium Kabooki
- All six games for $30 shipped. Will not split up. These games are good for children, girlfriends/wives, and casual game parties (Kabooki, Family Game Night, and Boom Blox are all decent party games).

Well, I have to give props to ReconYoda for attempting to hook me up. I put it out there a couple weeks back that I'm deploying in two weeks for 6 months and needed an iPod and he sold me one. However, the post office has either lost or stolen it. I'm giving them a couple more days, but I am not holding my breath.
I'm not sure what my next step is. If I'm out of money. If I am supposed to ask for my money back and then he is out of an iPod. But it doesn't change the fact that I need one quick.
I appreciate him trying to help me out though. Fucking USPS lets me down again, for maybe the last time.

With that put out there, is there anyone that could please help me out?
He sold me a 3rd gen 32 GB iPod touch in good condition for $175 shipped ($180 since I sent the money as a payment and covered the fee).
Is there anyone that could find it in the depths of their heart to sell me a like iPod touch at a price close to that? I know that was a really good deal, so if someone doesn't want to match it, I'd be willing to pay a bit extra.

Like I said, I'm going to UAE for 6 months and it would be nice to have music to listen to while running/working out/working and be able to Skype with the wife from it.
With the holiday, I'll give the post office until Tuesday afternoon since they just closed and wouldn't answer the phone in the 15 minutes prior to closing (I was in there when earlier in the morning). I'll probably repost this on Tuesday evening as well. Just want to see if they come through for me.
And can anyone advise me on what I am supposed to do about it being lost? Do I just eat $180 and I'm shit outta luck? I don't know what buyer/seller etiquette dictates.

He shipped something worth $180 without any kind of insurance? Whoever thought this was a good idea should eat the costs.

IMO it is the seller's responsibility and risk until the item is in your hands, or money back.

This right here.

BUT. I know from trading a bunch on here that UPS offers automatic insurance up to, I think, $500. I don't know if USPS offers anything similar?

BST etiquette dictates that, unless the seller specifically mentions that buyer is responsible for loss due to damage/lost in transit and offers/suggests add'l insurance/tracking/etc., seller is responsible for proper delivery of goods to the buyer (so long as buyer provided accurate shipping info).

How long has it been since buyer shipped?

I don't know. I haven't bought anything too expensive in the thread, but no one has ever asked if I wanted or offered insurance and I haven't requested it. I didn't know how it was going to ship until after it had been shipped. It went First Class Mail. Can First Class be insured?

He shipped on Monday, it was supposed to be here Thursday. I followed the tracking and it made it here, went out for delivery on Thursday at 10, and never made it anywhere. The carrier told the supervisor at the PO that he didn't remember anything for me (which is strange because he had a game I bought from GF's end-of-month sale that he delivered), the post office workers can't find it, no one knows what happened.
They've offered possible explanations, but I've checked into those (like "he's a substitute carrier that regularly delivers to the apartment complex down the road, maybe he dropped it off at that office instead. We'll have him look into it." I called that office, they didn't get it).

I'm not demanding money back or filing a Paypal dispute or anything, because there is a chance it could be sitting on a shelf there and it got overlooked. I think that is a slim chance in hell though, given my past history with the Sumter or Shaw AFB post offices and am not holding my breath. I am giving it a couple more days, but I do not have the luxery of time. This was a short-notice deployment and I have a TON of stuff to do before I leave and am stressing big time. It's even gotten me to buy a pack of Newports, and I quit smoking in April (not the post office fiasco, the stress from deploying). I just figured I could pick up an iPod to keep my mind occupied over there.

No offense to whoever sent this, but sending a $180 ipod FIRST CLASS? What the fuck? This is shipping within the US? Priority Mail would be a MINIMUM.

Mejilan

Running off of Custom Firmware
I suddenly feel the NEED to pick up the English (UK) version of Konami's Sword of Etheria for the Playstation 2. This is the EU version of Konami's Oz. Most EU e-sellers that ship to the US no longer even have a listing for this. But I did find seller lists on both Amazon UK and Play, but sadly, neither will ship to the US.

I scoured eBay, Half, and other similar venues, but the closest I got was to a Swedish version that's priced rather high and comes with French packaging and documentation.
I'd gladly pay the price, but if I'm dropping that much cash down, I'd rather it be the UK version.

Does anyone have any ideas on how a sad, neglected American like me could get his hands on a copy of this game? Konami and/or Sony never bothered to bring it to us. Something something, Genji sucked. Or something. *le sigh*

Does anyone know of any other e-seller that might have it? I checked thehut, zavvi, and a few others, and totally struck out. Or, would it be possible to have a kind, EU GAFfer act as my proxy? I've got a 100% rating on eBay with over 250 transactions in my history. Please feel free to look me up. My username is, unsurprisingly, Mejilan.

I was tempted to create a new thread, but... thought I'd give this thread a shot first...
Feel free to PM me if you have any ideas, offers, whatever.

No offense to whoever sent this, but sending a $180 ipod FIRST CLASS? What the fuck? This is shipping within the US? Priority Mail would be a MINIMUM.

I agree.
for a ipod. its like $5.80 to ship priority.
Everyone wonders why I only ship priority.

First of all guys, make sure you ship priority mail in this thread. I can't stress that enough. You do not want to ship first-class for an item that someone else has paid for/traded for. However we're beyond that at this point so here's some quick advice on what you should be doing here.

I understand time is of the essence and hopefully this will help. You said you had a tracking number. You should start by calling 1-800-222-1811 and have the tracking number on hand. That will give you a status on the tracking. I know you said it was "out for delivery", but that number would give you an indication as to whether or not the delivery person marked it as "delivered" and whether you're looking at theft on the delivery person's part or if it's in the post office. It is Columbus Day weekend and I've had terrible experiences with post offices having items there at the location for two days and not delivering it until way later. There is the possibility of it being on a truck, ready for delivery and it hasn't actually been delivered yet.

If you don't get it by Tuesday, you should immediately call this number: 1-800-275-8777
Have your tracking number for that and if you can, have ReconYoda send you proof that he mailed the item. A receipt of postage should do just fine. Also, the PayPal transaction history should be able to prove the value of the item shipped.

Sorry that this happened to you and I wish you the best of luck and a safe return on your upcoming deployment. I'll also PM this to you in hopes that you'll see it in time to benefit you.

First Class / Priority are very similar in shipping methods. First class is mainly for very small items and is worth the value on shipping. Priority mail is preferred sometimes as they give you shipping materials and flat rates for almost all of their boxes.

Technically FC is processed before Priority at the distribution centers, but both are relatively the same. Media/Parcel mailing should be avoided at all costs unless you are shipping a very large item.

Anyway, someone backed out of my new Turtle Beach X11 headset, if anyone is interested still let me know.
