Thanks for this, however I have a 3-4 year old Gateway and... it would need some serious work to get up to snuff. It's literally in a state where I would probably just have to buy a new PC altogether.

Everyone asking for steam versions of FC3 should know that it is a uplay game and the only way you can be given a "steam" version of the game is if someone buys it for you as a gift. Any codes for it that anyone has will have to be used through the ubisoft store.
