To which I showed the post history in this thread where for the last 7 posts, his was made within a minute of someone posting at the bottom of the page and consistently right at 200 posts.

Having a script constantly poll the website increases the server load without deriving any benefit for the site owner. Maybe that's ok? Maybe not?
