I deleted part of my original post, but I've had several anecdotal experiences where I'll do the research for the seller and they'll just say "no" with no room for negotiation. I know not every seller is like that, but as a buyer it's too much of a hassle. It just feels like a lot of sellers that don't list a price either have a price in mind but are hoping someone offers more or aren't willing to research something that would take two minutes tops. Personally I think the best thing to do is to list a price and also put that you're open to negotiation rather than doing some elaborate PMing dance.

Sure, that all makes sense to me. I totally get where you're coming from. I guess I just figure hopefully most people seeing this thread will know I'll give them a good deal and that I've done my research. I just don't want to scare away anyone with a higher price when I'm generally willing to work with people. :)

Now I ask a favor for any braving the morning Target rush. I have a young cousin who wants the MMn3DSXL also. I have to be at work at 8 so there's no way for me to go to the store to see if I can grab one up. If there's anyone willing to pick one up for me and ship it that would be so sick...a dream I know.... but one worth fighting for! PM me if you can help please!

You're trying to sell an XL for $190 and when the New 3DS is releasing soon for $200....? You could also get one at most retail stores for less than $190.

edit: Didn't notice it was the ALBW 3DS.

I'm not sure how they're selling, but the range around here is $120-150, depending on condition and what items come with it. But like I said, I don't know if anyone's buying them at those prices.

You can definitely do better than $100. As long as you undercut the refurb price by at least $15 you should find a buyer on here without too much trouble. A regular 3DS would be more like $100 and below, though. N3DS XL is too new at this point to have made much different on the resale market just yet. :)

Very cool. Don't care about the money as just having a $100ish to put towards the new one would be great!

Great condition, has a cradle, has the box, has everything still. If I go pick up the N3DS I'll probably list.

Just FWIW, don't forget the N3DS XL doesn't come with a charger, so there's that sunk cost to consider as well. You might also want to keep in mind the GS trade-in deal, although unfortunately I think that's ended now.

I did this for the 3DS to XL. Online people said they let them do it at the store, but when i tried they said I had to do it at home...and it was some convoluted system where I went home and returned after it was done and they refunded it. I don't know exactly what happened but it worked.

I'll look into if they will do that again.

So you still need both systems to do it? You can't just copy all of the data to the MicroSD and it will do the transfer?
