It really sucks that someone would do that crap. The impact it has on the community is particularly shitty. I generally feel so safe doing transactions in this thread, I haven't come across one less-than-stellar person yet. And I try to do my best to hook people up and treat them the way I'd want to be treated. This is a reminder that there are always people with bad intentions wherever you go.

I hope people can still trust they can get some great deals with some great people here. Screw this dude.

2 - Gen - alternate hands, purple outfit, SF Round 3 series by SOTA.

I have pics but in the process of getting them sorted. Sort of selling them on a whim as I'm not really a figure guy, so I wanted to gauge interest here first. Using eBay as a reference, I don't see much about the Akuma, but see a few of what appear to be the same Gen figure on there.

As far as scamming goes, I was almost scammed by one user who lived in Japan years ago, but he ended up sending out most if not all the products that took almost a month to be sent out after they were paid. I cannot recall his name at the time.

With shopping online, there is any risk. I usually accept Paypal Gift or for the purchaser to cover the fees, but I almost never use it in return. I always pay the fees when sending money especially if it is a large amount.

On eBay last year I was almost scammed of an S7 Edge claiming it was unlocked (It was a T Mobile phone and locked to their network), I waited almost two months and ended up claiming it with Paypal since eBay would not do anything about it, but finally got my money back.

Quoting doesn't reduce data size. It's a courtesy for mobile and data-capped users.

If you're on mobile it still downloads the larger files, which apparently caused or at least pushed some users to their mobile data limit. A couple months ago it was decided that the majority doesn't want the extra data due to large image files and for this reason the image size rule was introduced.

Since the majority wants it, just follow it. There's also an easy way to resize your images by adding an "l" between the file name and .jpg..

Ah understood. My apologies. I'll go ahead and make the appropriate changes when I get on my desktop later.

I'm not sure why but I always thought quoted images were a thumbnail of sorts until clicked and then loaded the full size image. Now I know better.

Back then I thought so too. I also wasn't a fan of that rule, but since someone told us that adding one letter does the resizing for you it's not a big deal anymore.
