Said be there by 11:45 and our group will be escorted directly in the store to buy the game at 12:01am. Only code on the receipt is the redemption code for wave 3 and wave 4 pre-order bonuses if you selected the DLC rather than trip entry but the site is giving a bare with us message.

Anyone else getting a game-breaking bug during the intro to mission 2? Right after being hit by a rocket, small green rectangles over the screen, image freezing, still music playing. Very reproducible to the extent that I have not been able to continue on in the game. Changing in-game settings does not seem to help.

Doesn't seem as ridiculous as I remember it, but the Marathon + Lightweight + Commando w/ tac-knife class was a nightmare on that map.

Judging from the streams I'm liking how these maps play out. A lot of head on encounters and flanking actually seems to take some effort. In MW3 most deaths seemed to stem from getting shot in the side or the back, I'm not seeing alot of that here.
Some screen tearing going on.

Also I really like the MP off first impressions. Maps are a million times better than MW3

I hope this game doesn't suck; the only reason I'm buying it is because I got a good deal on the game.
Hearing that the maps are smaller and UAV/Ghost bullshit is turning me off the game.

Just got back from Game midnight launch here in Cardiff.
Game need to sort out their air conditioning, it was boiling in there by midnight. They told us that the first 20ish or something got some sort of goodie bag of stuff and my friends and I were like 16-19, so the first two of us got our game then some chav guy rushed out in front of my friends and only one of them got the bag.
Not that there is anything useful in it, but after waiting outside in the cold earlier than others and then in the sauna that was Game all 4 of us should have got the extra codes for avatar stuff etc., we nearly kicked off about it but just wanted to go home after having been there so long and you know what those chavy looking guys are like.
But anyway, just waiting for the game to install and will get to try some multiplayer.

paid off the game, traded in skyrim(ps3) so nothing is lost because skyrim is a broken mess.
so now I leave at 11:30 to pick it up aka get my final recite and wait in line.

Streaming PC version @ 360p and it still prob looks better than consoles. Game looks exactly like COD. It'll sell billions.
Graphically, in comparison to BF3, it looks SUPER aged, the textures look at clash with these low polly models. Hell I'm getting FPS drops some how. :/
