I was doing really well with the Razorback yesterday (first day with it), but today I'm losing every gun fight with it. Seems to take an extra bullet or 2 to kill then other SMGs besides Weevil.

Where is there word of a Gorgon nerf? Typical. Can't have a good LMG.

And the Haymaker needs a buff if anything. So many fucking hitmarkers from point blank range. I'm grinding for a laser/long barrel/rapid fire set up and it's painful.
I was gonna say, if the haymaker needs anything is a buff, I shouldn't be dying when I pump a guy point blank with it, piss weak

Uplink has to be my favorite mode in the game right now and it's really ashame that it's like the less played according to those percentages I guess.

The meta game in hold onto the ball it self and throwing it at enemies when you run into them or just throwing it between teammates is probably the reason I keep coming back. So many ways to out smart/think people on it

So I have an issue with at least the Sheiva and the last burst assault rifle. I'm not sure if the first burst fire rifle does it too. When I try to fire bursts in succession at an enemy sometimes it freezes after the first burst and won't let me fire another one. However, if I'm not shooting at anyone, it will allow me to fire them regularly. This has gotten me killed multiple times.

This was present in the beta, and I managed to pick up a Sheiva (only level 30+) and noticed the same. Yeah, it gets stuck or won't fire for some reason. :(

Anyone know how Rapid Fire works with Sheiva? Does it become like the FAL in Black Ops 2 or does putting in Rapid Fire just mean you won't get stuck?

I played a few matches yesterday against a squad of quick scopers. Holy hell! Not fun! Also, it's worse! Some people do a "jumping quick scope" thing. I remember doing that with the Artic Sniper Rifle in CS many, many years ago.

People might not believe it, but man! Sniper rifles in this game are annoying as fuck....way more than usual. If it happens again, I'll record that thing. UGH!

That mode would be so fun if it was pistols or knives only. Speaking of pistols only, wish One In The Chamber was in this game.

The campaign's not THAT bad.

I'm playing through it alone, and while not as balls to the wall action packed, the little gameplay systems they've set up have really grown on me, and I'm finding the gameplay to be some of the most exciting in a CoD campaign to date. It's just everything around it that is lackluster. The characters, story, voice acting, and set pieces are all pretty lame.

I could see it being more fun multiplayer with different powers and stuff, and it seems designed for it too. It's just CoD trying to be Destiny, finding excuses to throw more waves of enemies at you.

Anyone else following the race?

Did they hit master prestige already? I thought that was the whole idea of it but it's over now, I swear when I tuned I yesterday they were nowhere near master prestige.

Man my last Nomad specialist head gear didn't unlock when I finally completed all the assignments :l. It says it unlocks after I have the FUDRA head and body but has been unlocked but nope..

Nobody yet. TheRace's account got boosted to Master Prestige by Von since they were streaming it to raise money for charity. The real "race" is currently between Doom clan (BigFoltz) and Pwnstarz. You'll see their channels pretty easy on twitch. I think they're both somewhere around Prestige 7 atm.

Cool, thanks I thought they were way off.

I follow pwn on Twitch so I'll keep an eye on his stream.

Master Prestige is Prestige 11?

Not mine, but it made me realize that the energy deplation per swing on the Ripper is no longer there, which the Beta had and you were limited to a number of swings including the missed swings.

That's pretty sweeeeeet.

I'm so hooked on the mp but I find it fascinating ( or downright fucking frustrating ) how many people join Domination games and play it like TDM. I ran past several people this morning who would be camped out next to an enemy control point but not cap it or simply run to the opposite direction. I don't mind campers, its a perfectly valid tactic and makes sense to defend the points you cap but being completely oblivious to your surroundings and not playing the objectives ? GTFO hokay !?

Got the deadly specialist and tactical specialist trophies done, but holy hell is the platinum going to be near impossible. Beat veteran without ever dying? Sheesh.

Correction, that's realistic difficulty...

Same, every weapon is useful, some more than others but nothing is wrong with that.

Weapons are balanced enough, and if something is going to change then don't make it the damage.

If gorgon gets nerfed watch everyone not use it anymore, and then we're back to using fucking 5 guns for the rest of Blops 3 lifetime.
I've only been killed by the gorgon maybe 3 times since launch. Everything else is the VMP and ICR about 80% of the time.

As long as they don't touch my Kuda, I'm good. One of the most well rounded guns in the game. Very versatile, easy to handle, does well up close and mid range.

I played MP for an hour or so since launch and I feel no incentive to keep playing.

The absense of the most basic HC game modes is a real gamebreaker for me.

I only play HC DOM and KC, played those 2 in all CoD games, except the pile o' shite which was Ghosts.

Having only HC TDM, CTF and S&D is a real bummer. I hope they add them quickly so I can enjoy BLOPS3 MP...

Nuk3town is fun though, but not enough to keep me playing...

I too hope that they don't nerf the Gorgon's dmg. If they do anything to it, I hope that it is something like a larger recoil kick that you can reduce with a grip. Reducing the damage will defeat the purpose of using it.

I downloaded nuke town map but have never played a single match on it. What gives?

Chaos moshpit under the bonus playlist. It used to be by itself down there, but not anymore.

The gameplay is the best it's ever been for me, no questions. I actually also enjoyed the story. It doesn't try to take itself seriously like AW, but instead just turns into a straight sci fi saturday morning cartoon (To be fair, I understand why most people don't like this)

Gorgon doesn't need a nerf, yes it's a two shot kill but you still get owned up close by SMG's and at distance it's a fair fight with other weapons.

It's another placebo that the weapon is OP when in actual fact it's not. At least Treyarch take a good approach to post launch weapon nerfs/buffs as they go off actual stats from the game and not what people cry about.

Holy shit so just tried the mp out for the first time... I suck. Two matches only able to get two kills. Any tips guys? What is a noob friendly beginners gun?

It definitely doesn't need it and I agree with that, but I disagree on the second point. In the past, I believe they have nerfed stuff after people complained about them. Recent example, KRM in beta vs now. Some people will call any gun that's not AR/SMG OP just because they got killed by it, which is sad.

Play local and turn on bots to learn the maps and the loadouts/specialists without getting punched repeatedly in online MP until you get used to things and feel like it is time to online MP.

Kuda is always great close and mid-range, even OK-ish on long. The KN and HVK are good and easy to use, but I find them to lack a bit of dmg.

I don't recommend using the shotgun this early... The KRM is inconsistent without ADS'ing and you gotta learn the maps to know where you can hang around to be in that kind of close range.

Spectre is officially the most badass Specialist. Ripper is just fun as hell to use and Active Camo is so deadly in the right hands.

Run KN-44 with Grip + Stock. I feel that combo is really easy to get into. I would also give the ICR and Kuda a shot as well. For LMGs, BRM is pretty good and, if you have decent aim, Gorgon is really deadly

But KN-44 max damage is 35 and has a higher RoF than the Man o War. lol

Tactical Specialist is a pain in the ass. Right now I'm using Ruin with Overdrive and running around with the Haymaker hoping I can get two guys in one go a couple times to get it. Almost always die before I can get a kill though once I've activated Overdrive. Frustrating as hell.

LOL @ the story so far. Just finished the first stage. Treyarch is still the best of the three to me but this campaign looks like it's about to be some foolishness.

I guess I'm still comparing it to the beta in my head. My time with it in the full game felt so lacking with the Kuda and ICR being around.

The Ripper is just so good ;-; I wanna go home and play already, but can't.

If you want to run like crazy 24/7 use a fast smg or even a shotgun. If your playstyle is more cautious you should consider an assault rifle or lmg. Im not too deep into blops3 yet but in blops2 I used lmg's mainly. I didnt camp but I took my time getting to places.

Yea, the beta had the KN-44 as a garbage starting weapon, but it is much better now with the 3HK potential.

I used my token on Active Camo because of how good it is. I also love how he speaks and some of the things he says. Like, when killing a Reaper, he goes, "Reaper? Hardly." So good.
