Yes I love this mode. Played it for the first time in mercenary playlist last night, had no idea what it was. Was hooked within a minute or 2.
Also thanks to those who recommended the VMP. Very fun gun to use!

35DMG is rather really good to get that 3HK, so I should give it another chance/longer time because I'll prestige as soon as I can and with it being a starter weapon, it will help.
What did they do to make Active Camo better? I think they increased the duration to 5 seconds now? I didn't get to use it in the beta because I ran out of tokens. He also says "Evolutionary dead-end reached" when he kills Prophet since Prophet's description goes to say how he is the next evolutionary step iirc.
Don't mean to repost, but this is what I did in the beta and it really covered my ass in sneaking around a lot more unnoticed as well as when I missed with my shotgun shots.

I have this on XBox One and would like to know how this is hosted because I have been having so many different experiences and it varies game to game. I am on a 200mb fibre connection and I know my internet is not the issue.
In some games my stats are very good, I see the person and I shoot and the hit registers and they die. In some games the hit registers so many times but I always seem to die first.
Is this due to lag or is it because of shitty servers?
I'm sorry if this sounds like a dumb question but this is ruining my game experience if someone always has an advantage due to some issue we cant control.

It's both servers(DemonWare servers) and P2P. It depends on where you live, so if you're close to a server, I think the game will use that. But if the servers are hammered/full, or you're too far, you will be in P2P.
I think only PC get really covered with servers unlike consoles?
Edit: I guess to answer directly, it is probably lag and hits not registering. I have it happen to me one match where I feel like I'm using a BB gun, but the next one I'm fine and shooting with no issues. The servers appear to go down every now and then too.

Thanks, I'm in London so don't know if any servers are close to me. I played Titanfall and that was fantastic, but I know that was because it was on MS servers. Battlefield 4 was a good experience too and was a better experience compared to COD BO3. You think with all the money COD makes they would get better servers for a better online experience surely?

Doubt that it changed much, so you should be really close to a one, but I'm guessing they are full/hammered sometimes. Yeah, I wish that they would make it stable like the competition for how much money they make every year.

Even better plan that will keep you as competitive as possible... forget hitting that Prestige button. Do you really need 5 extra class options now with the gunsmith weapon variants... do you really need those extra shiny cards and camos? Or would you rather have every... single... weapon/perk/attachment/equipment unlocked and at your disposal?

Whats up with all the chest-height cover at each corner. Makes holding a corner super easy and SMG/Shotgun players are dead when flinch kicks in

It's in the competitive arena playlist as well. once cod competitive has a rule set and things get going in a month the playlist should be more populated and it's even better when playing 4v4.
Uplink was one of the only good things sledgehammer did in advanced warfare such a fun mode.

Kd means nothing other than waving it around like you have a big E peen. Let the dude prestige if he wants and tbh I always found the people who dont prestige to be less rounded and bad players. If you can't keep good stats while prestiging you aren't very good anyways.

The Kuda is a top tier weapon.
If you can handle shotguns then the Haymaker is also pretty awesome.

There are 10 Master Prestiges.
I finally hit Prestige 1. Took about 25 hours according to the Barracks. This was playing mostly solo. I'm pretty average player so I guess that's not terrible. Double XP should speed it up a bit.

Wait... huh? You guys totally misunderstood. This has nothing to do with being a "1337" try-hard competitive player... more so that prestiging only unlocks some visual stuff. More a comment on "what's the point". I never said anything about player skill or stats etc.

When I eventually prestige I think I may unlock either the shock sticks or the trip mine, guns come quick enough
how does this compare to previous cods?
I particularly would like to know how it compares with mw2. The hype for that game was monstrous.

Yes i believe you can. Lots of people seem to be using it on Reaper or Specter.
I still say in chat "DAT PRONE THOUGH" every time someone goes prone in a CQC firefight.

It's been a frustrating few days for me playing. I'm not the best player around by any stretch but I'm also not a .75 K/D barely eeking out 10 kills a match player either.
How is everyone's ping? For the past two days my ping is a constant 80ms and sometimes hitting 100ms. Is this normal? The console servers are getting entirely overrun cause you guys literally have hundreds of thousands of people playing at all times. So you constantly get put on P2P connections with one xbox being the host and the other being clients. This leads to lag situations and higher ping.
On PC, we only have 50k people playing so basically everyone is on dedicated servers 24/7

I'm generally In the 30-35 ms range but I still tend to get those wtf moments which seems to be due to other players having high pings. I'm in Ohio and I assume it's connecting to servers In Chicago.
To the dude asking for a good run and gun weapon try the vesper it's probably the best smg all the pros seem to be gravitating towards it. You have to use extended mag though it's burns through ammo fast.
It does, yes, but it has a seperate offline save. So your online campaign and offline campaign are 100% seperate from each other.
Yes, but it's either-or. Meaning that there are two savegames - online and offline. So if you want to play it offline, make sure to start the game in offline mode and keep it that way.

Yeah, so much for dedicated servers on the Xbox One. It's sad really. Maybe things will get better as time progresses and they have time to adjust for capacity.
I'm in Ohio also, so it's interesting to hear you are in the 30-35 range. When I play with my brothers on the West Coast, it seems I don't nearly have as much of an issue...which is weird. Mainly because I generally join their game and I would assume would be playing on west coast servers.

Sounds like an ISP issue if you are having high ping playing solo. I'm also in northern Ohio if you are in southern you may connect to different servers. But I have rarely seen pings over the 35 ms range. I do have really good internet so that may help.
I have noticed high ping players tend to melt me even though I'm on a 4 bar with very low ping but I may just be host in those situations. I tend to pull host because I have tons of bandwidth at 150/20up.
You aren't playing on wifi are you? I have had a few nights with bad connections but my ping is generally pretty good. You on ps4 or Xbox?
I think that they save your online campaign on their own servers so you can't mess with your save file and that's why the offline is totally seperate.
It's basically an anti cheat/exploit measure that goes a little too far.
I feel they might add more functions to it,but right now it's basically a "replay" function you can do all kinds of stuff in.
I just use it with Nvidia Shadowplay to quickly capture a moment and then I upload it to youtube.

Is leveling up slower in this than say, AW? I don't know why but it feels a lot slower considering the amount of time I've put in.
I've noticed that switching guns up a lot so you can get more challenges done and using different specialists and equipment will greatly increase your XP gain.

Yeah it does feel slower. Past titles had double xp early on so maybe thats why.

Da fuck! Did profiles get a rollback at some point? Last night I unlocked a fire-like camo for my Razorback but it's not in my Black Market Camo anymore!
