I just got back from Best Buy with my PC copy. 6 fricken discs! Holy cow the price of staying physical.

Ok, multiplayer wise I loved Modern Warfare 1/2 and enjoyed BLOPS, but hated Advanced Warfare, what do you think, will I enjoy this?
Halo 5's multi was pretty spotless during release.
Can't decide whether to pick this up. I'm pretty busy with Halo, but CoD always scratches a particular itch.

I think you will. It removes some of the oddness of AW like that twitchiness people seemed to complain about. Also, at least to me the TTK was just about right and the classes are very cool.

Alright so I'v played one match so far, and in that one match I'v had more fun than any I ever had with AW.
This game is awesome.
This game is awesome.
It is basically Black Ops 2 in terms of feel and map design with the added element of wall running and supers from Destiny. If you like Blops 2 you will probably like this as the movement is far less intrusive than AW leaving combat feeling more grounded and like oldshool Call of Duty. The Specialists don't feel to unfair yet, definitely not as bad as Destiny supers.

Sooo. I pre-ordered on PS4 so I could get beta key. In the end, I didn't plan on getting this. Then I got an email today from Amazon today saying my copy shipped. So I guess I'm playing Black Ops 3. I'm too lazy to return it anywho. I haven't played since Modern Warfare 3

A company being excited for their new game is a huge slap in the face to all the fans that liked their old games.
That was actually something that impressed me, and it's a clear sign of COD shaking off a bit of stagnation.

I played a map that wasn't in the Beta and it was so well designed my god.
I personally found that AW was far more erratic, unpredictable and had worse spawns than the other games, but watching videos online, this one seems a bit more grounded. Now it's just deciding between this or Battlefront!

So Polygon, Gamespot, and Giant Bomb have the 3 lowest scores. Eurogamer hasn't done a review yet, though they found the campaign rather uneven from their write up on it. IGN and Kotaku reviews seem to be pending more time with the MP post release.

PS4? I did a hard reset, and I waited for like 30 seconds at the title screen to see the version number change. All good now.

That is pretty much the twitchiness. I enjoyed AW for its uniqueness but instantly on playing this, maybe 1-2 games in. I was far more dialed in on movement and the level design is actually really damn good as well.

Yeah, if you can't get online with an alphabet error, just restart the game, then WAIT at the title screen until the version number goes up. Then hit X and you'll get right in.

Yep but its reworked, the levels play in different order, the story is shifted completely around and actions you take in cutscenes have entirely new meanings or reasons. Its just brilliant man. This comes from someone who thought it was simply an addon.
