It's trash. Unless they decide to cut the hacking time in half, it'll make it a bit better. Letting it hack through walls again might be a bit much.
After TDM matches, it should only tell you your TDM KDR, the global KDR is the main "ruiner" of all other game modes.
You can't help but care about your global KDR, there should only be mode specific KDRs, SPM can be global, as can W/L . IMO of course.
It would but since you cannot really see people's stats, moreso their KDR, it may steer people to do the objectives.

It sucks that anyone using SMGs just goes with the Vesper of VMP. I really like the Razorback but it just loses every face to face fight I have with someone with any other SMG
Yeah it's maddening really. I played yesterday and my first three matches had each first place person with 50+ kills and maybe 15 deaths. The sobering stat was they had exactly 2 captures and a boat load of defends.
I don't want to sway the importance of holding your flags but when you sit back and camp the original spawn flag and throw out kill streaks, you aren't really helping the TEAM. Especially on some maps where getting B is a major pain in the d*ck.
That's my biggest gripe playing solo. When I play with friends we rep hard to get the B flag and hold down our original flag. Nobody sits on their A$$ and camps the original flag and we seem on most nights to probably win out the vast majority of our matches.

I love how I still get my 50+ kills in dom, all my streaks, win most of the games, and when you look at the captures I have either the most captures or second most.
Meaning you can play the objective smart, still get kills, still get streaks, and still destroy!

I melt Vesper/VMP/Pharo users at med-close range with the Razorback (even suppressed) face to face... however... yes they'll get you up close and personal because of the RoF.
I was wavering on whether I should do the fresh start or not this time, but it's taking way too long to level up this time and I don't think I'll bother.

How so? It was available to me when I was asked which item I wanted to perma unlock..it's my favorite weapon so I unlocked it.

What does perma unlock mean? Isn't everything permanently unlocked when you get it?

Not when you prestige. It's like starting from scratch. Not sure what level you get the HVK at, but when you use a perma unlock token on it, you have it unlocked permanently from now on whenever you prestige.
Are you talking about Prestiging?
I believe a perm unlock means that you select one weapon to unlock so that you have access to it from the start. So like you could unlock a level 40 weapon and have access from level 1.
Which makes me wonder...
Is the Perm unlock seperate for Specalists and Weapons or do you get one unlock token between the two of them?

Useful to some. You really don't have to do it and yes, your prestige level is your icon next to your name.
That's exactly what it is.
Although I'm not sure if you even have enough unlock tokens to unlock everything when you reach Max level.

You get an extra create a class slot, a prestige permanent unlock for anything in the game per prestige, prestige camos/title cards/emblems/rank emblem, and in the end of the day, some people like the progression system. I know I do. I also know tons of people that never prestige and just stay at 55 forever. It made sense in earlier cods not to prestige because you didnt get anything but a new emblem and everything got reset. But nowadays there are a lot more benefits to prestiging. The create a class slot is a big deal to me. 5 is not enough.

Oh, I see. I can understand why people would do that; to get a feel of progression again after having played a lot. And yeah getting additional class slots is nice, I agree that five are too few.
Still, I can't help but find it to be a silly game mechanic. Glad it's optional, at least.

I figured because it's such an early unlock you might use your perma for high level favorites of yours. To each his/her own though. I enjoy the weapon as well.

It is one unlock token per prestige that can be applied to any one thing that would require an unlock token (i.e. Specialist ability, or weapon, or perk...). There are not enough tokens to unlock everything without prestiging, and there are 10 prestige levels.

You unlock HVK at level 2 I think, so you kind of wasted your perma unlock.
Man, why do I get 10,000 hitmarkers every core game? I have constant full green bar connection, tested around 25 ping, and still takes forever to kill someone. Not to mention, looking around corners and don't see anyone, then get insta-killed with the Killcam showing someone there. Why is the lag-comp so bad?

No, I mean, going forward, he can spend his level up unlock tokens on other content and will always have the HVK unlocked no matter what.
I know common practice is to permanently unlock late level content and (that's what I do myself) but if he really likes the gun that much, it's not the worst decision in the world.

I would hate this. I want to know who's feeding kills and who's actually killing. The guys racking up 50+ kills in objective modes are actually useful as they're killing guys for you so you can easily capture points.
I think this whole "K/D is the root of the problem" argument is untrue as your average cod player just sucks. From the Domination games I've played with randoms, people are trying to get captures but just keep dying. Play with a party in objective modes and most of your problems are solved.
somone on here got mad at me cause i got alot of kills and not alot of caps in AW, they dont realize thats from preventing opponents from taking points

Agreed. Or at least completely hide K/D. I'll never be convinced it's worth seeing vs the 'negatives" it promotes in objective gametypes. Show captures... defends... maybe total time on flags/capture points or quickest B capture etc.

My first unlock token is going on Firebreak he's amazing.
Pretty much, If someone on your team is going 50/10 with 2 caps, great, he's wrecking the other team.
You might have an argument if the guy is going 25/25 with 2 caps, but if they're going 10/25, odds are they're just bad period, not that they aren't 'playing the objective'.
Regardless, bitching about randoms not playing the obj is a waste of breath. Play in a party or don't play obj modes and throw your body on targets solo.
