Sleeper power weapon. Hilariously fun to use, even if it isn't the 'best' for most normal combat situations or against really good teams.

That's the reason it feels so large. It's all corridors, you can't use the new movement system to get around the map any quicker so you're just running from room to room trying to find someone. It takes forever to get from one side of the map to the other.

True. My only gripe is how common Combine is because its small.

The engagements in all of the maps vary from small to long range and it invites multiple playstyles. Its really good.

Just wish there was more open, medium to long range engagement maps like Overgrown or something like Quarry. Night maps would also be nice.

Black Ops had great maps at launch and DLC. Black ops 2 was also decent some good,some bad but yeah these maps are great i love the three lanes.

I definitely think big maps are needed as well. Something like Quarry or favela would be good. Afghan size is too much imo

Edit: lol night maps too while we are at it

Just hit 46 and got the Razorback, feels kinda underwhelming. The flamethrower specialist however is completely OP, he definitely needs a nerf to range when hip firing

Well, I decided to do the Fresh Start for that lovely calling card. And now I'm level 20 and I just got 100 headshots on the first assault rifle, what a piece of shit.

That's one 100 headshot challenge down, 24 more guns to go!

Anyone else here use Bumper Jumper Tactical? Just started using it today and being able to aim while jumping has already saved my ass on a lot of occasions.

Definitely. So glad that Treyarch added that control set up for Blops 3, especially since I'm coming off of Destiny and that's how I play over there.

Jump with L1. Allows you to keep your thumbs on the sticks while you jump so you can aim.

Tactical nade is X, specialist is R1+X.

Holy shit! This! I run and see no one and then see someone and fire, but I die ASAP. Watch the kill cam and can see the enemy saw me already while I haven't seen them yet. It's like a second or two of phantom lag or something.

Please tell me I'm not the only one (well, we're not the only two) experencing this? I'm on PS4.

Is it lag compensation? Net code anomaly?

Only way to play console FPS, in my opinion. Once I switched to this layout years ago, I never looked back.

Probably just location and ping issues, if I get in a match and think I'm on the wrong end of it, I just quit and find a new lobby.

I figure half my kills probably came from when I had the ping advabtage...it goes both ways

Exact same thing on PC and we have dedicated servers, the lag comp or whatever is fucked. One match I go straight terminator with perfect hit reg, the next I'm firing spit balls.

I've often thought about bumper jumper tactical but never made the jump

might experiment with it tonight for an hour or so and see how I feel. Im always playing with just normal tactical

First Black Ops maps were perfect. I seriously don't hate any of them, while on other COD I end up hating half of them or All of them (looking at ya' MW3)
BO3 is pretty close to have all around great maps.

I'm the same, always felt it was too late in the game to switch up controls. I feel like I would screw up activating my specialist a bunch if I made the switch.

Started using bumper jumper since Titanfall then in Destiny. In the Blops3 beta I started my first match without changing my controls to Bumper Jumper and it felt so weird! Works really well.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who seems to be having an issue with hit prioritization. It feels like I can hit a guy 4 or 5 times and do nothing but die in one hit myself. Now, I'm pretty awful, but it can't always be that it's just me being awful.

I assume we're all way past talking about the campaign, but I'm really curious if anyone knows if the whole Frozen Forest is a reference to something? Like a poem or book or something. Did some googling about it, but came up empty. It just feels super familiar.

For those who played the campaign on Veteran, how difficult was it? I want to play it on my first play through, but not if it's too frustrating/hard. For reference I beat MW2 on Veteran.

Easiest Veteran by far. Almost feels like they toned it down to make Realistic look good.

Realistic is easier than old CODs on Veteran. Except for a couple real bullshit parts.
