Call of Duty: Black Ops III |OT| No Content For Old Gen

Anytime, meng.

I'm probably one of the people who would be mad that you have a couple capped flags but went 10-23 or something. lol

Not that is bad if its just one or two bad games, as I sometimes end up feeding a guy a couple times and I have to go buzzkill him from RAPS or something.

And I always get two extremes with my teams: team doesn't bother capping and rather go and revenge kill people on the edges of the map or bothers capping but feeds the enemy team UAVs and Hellstorms.

It's crazy just how completely different Domination is with a full team. I normally play with clanmates who have all been playing together since MW2 and BlackOps.

It's not unusual to see half the team have 3-4 kills and maybe one or two deaths when utilizing 4-5 men in proper mid-map control and 1-2 "enforcers" who run the upper mid near the teams spawn capture point (being careful to never flip the spawns). That(those) enforcers will have the majority of the kills and put constant pressure on the enemy as the map-control guys protect key mid-map lanes and B-flag.

Played a few solo pub dom games and was completely fucking amazed by how bad everyone is at cooperation and map-control. Like you said... someone gets killed and they must go back to that same guy over and over... or you get the randoms who feel they need to go into the enemy spawn constantly to try and get kills or cap their point thus flipping spawns and getting the teammates who are actually locking shit down dead.

I think i'll stick to Chaos Moshpit from now on when solo.

As far as secondary, I can't give up a rocket launcher to take down scorestreaks. It is just easy xp that can fuel my own scorestreaks.

Good point actually, never really gave this a go, how many points do you get per UAV or whatever's flying around up there?

Man, splitscreen co-op is broken (on PS4). Game crashes often in the safe house. Almost at the end of the campaign, it crashed again and now the save game of my co-op buddy is corrupted. His character is back to level 1 while I am level 10.

Is there a quick way to level up? Dont really want to do the entire campaign all over again...

Yea, its really hard to stop coordination alone. I barely get out wins with teams with more than three players in a party. Its hard to pull of when you have others feeding them streaks and they have freedom of movement since your team isn't stopping them from running the sides.

I'm use to playing solo, so I usually try to play aggressor and try to keep people off anyone capping B, or I just cap it solo if no one else bothers. My SPM is stupidly high because of so many defender awards lol.

When I'm in a party? Its either a total lockdown, or you're constantly spawn killed and the game turns into TDM with flags.

People might be mad at me, I wouldn't know. i mute everyone. But yeah I should probably try and play a little more carefully on domination, but the way they set some of these control points up there is like barely a good place to set up and wait for it to cap. They don't all need to be very defensible, but some are just right out in the open.

I love when people call in a Cerberus, easy to destroy with my launcher. Actually I need to destroy 10 Talons/Cerberus now for a camo, but haven't seen any since. Guardians and Sentry Guns are even more rare, but they're required for a camo too.

IDK how many of those little Cerberuses (Cerberi? lol) i've crushed the moment the pop out of their crate with gravity spikes lol... it's so damn hilarious... i almost feel bad. The spikes are a great basher of ground-based score streaks... well, save for Raps... i tried that once like an idiot with a group of like 6 of them hahaha.

I think it is 75 xp for UAV, 100xp for counter UAV, higher points for things like Wraith and such.

It is a lot of xp for you while also helping out your team.

Need SBMM back. Just finished a game of dom. 55-27 I topped my team and the room on in score. My team mates:

9-34
11-29
7-31
5-42

Why are these people my team mates. I have no idea how they are enjoying the game.

On that note, anyone up for some domination? lol PSN CollateralCat-

It felt like it was higher in the beta, not that I'm complaining too much. Also feels like I'm one of usually only two people on my team who consistently has a launcher now, which is great for me.

I don't mind kill comfirm and prefer it over domination. But I thought domination would net you the most points . Althought the match does takes longer.

What about smg?

it gives the minimum damage range of SMGs a boost, small benefit cmpared to what ARs get

Not sure if old:

Weapon chart with detailed damage, range drop off and dps stats.

edit: I'd take that chart with a big grain of salt. Several stats seem off. Sheiva with 258 RPM? (4.3 rounds per second?) I think not...

Battery is my favorite so far. War Machine is the shit! it's crazy powerful and you can get random kills pretty easily just lobbing grenades, and it's also very deadly at short range or indoors as well. Was using Kinetic Armor for a while but it very rarely made a difference for me.

not sucking is what i'm having trouble with right now. global K/D is like a measly 0.8 :-(

Still having a great time with this game, but wish people would try and get the objectives more in Domination. Also wish there was a matchmaking mode that rotated game types that wasn't ground war. Ground war is way too chaotic for me.
I just love war machine for just flushing people out.

I've used Outrider Sparrow, Seraph Combat Focus, and Spectre Ripper. I recently got some Black Market taunts for Repaer, so I started using him and his illusions, which I think are amazing for both objective and slayer playlists.

I play CoD for the variety so I'll probably keep bouncing around but the best all around bet would probably be to stick to the weapons of the starting specialists. As with CoD unlocks in general, the stuff you get down the line is much more situational.
Interesting. I just mainly bounce from Seraph and Battery. It's really good to have those two in team fights. I just need to understand how to use Seraph better.

I've been playing hardcore all day and really enjoying it, I've pretty much ignored it over the years.

What level are you at? Wait til you get to reaper and firebreak. Lol

That Reaper Scythe perk thing is the most absurd shit I've ever encountered in an FPS. It needs to be nerfed to hell.

The weevil is absolute poop but it's fun spraying with extended mag.

Yeah, same here... I have tried the run-n-gun approach but just keep failing miserably. Right now I really like using the BRM and the ripper to help out in close combat.. It is nice to activate the ripper ability prior to entering a room that more than likely has people in it.

I'm trying the run gun and jump approach, my kd is usually 0.5 and lower. Basically I die a shit ton, but its fun(satisfying when I do get the kills) and the way I like to play and I'm slowly getting better.

I've had a few scorestreaks and bad ass moments. I'm really liking the game now. I'm into it much more than AW.

I plan on unlocking plenty of crates I believe
So I have been fallouting

What's the two go to guns now?
I think it's pretty much preference

Do you prefer lmg, assault rifles, shotguns, smgs?

I've tried them all and smgs for me, I love the pharo

I hear the Shiba is good, that the gorgon is crazy, and that the man o war is great, and the Argus

I've been running the Vesper for a while now basically just running around and hip firing it to a lot of success. So much so that I have trouble adapting when I switch back to other weapons. That thing just rips people apart up close, and as long as you're smart about where you go, you don't lose too many close-mid range gun fights.
