I have over 12 hours playtime and 1200 kills and I have personally been killed by a Sniper in that whole time TWICE ! No one and I mean no one is using Snipers because of their difficulty.

The Sniping community is dead on this game and people like Daniel Kross are asking for Treyarch to add aim assist back in because a newcomer will never pick up a Sniper and do even remotely well compared to reaching for the nearest AR or SMG.

I used to Snipe almost exclusively at times in a lot of previous COD games and even I haven't unlocked a Sniper yet, because I know its going to need total focus and map and spawn knowledge to even remotely do well.

Sniping is by far the single most difficult thing to do in a COD game, I am amazed that it's even up for discussion. There are Snipers out there that can't go back to using an AR or SMG as it feels to cheap or easy for them and the challenge is gone.

If sniping is so easy and Quick Scoping takes no skill, then I challenge you to try Sniping exclusively on this game for a week and report back how you and your K/D ratio got on ?

I'll give you 6hrs before you are begging to go back to your LMG/SMG/AR

All snipers except for the SVG have faster ADS times than any BO2 sniper rifle. SVG-100 can kill in the leg up and has the same ADS speed as most BO2 sniper rifles. The only hinderance added to snipers is no aim assist which doesn't hurt the rifles much. Snipers aren't designed to be weapons that you just pick up and play with like most ARs and SMGs. Shotguns are the same way too.

Honestly, whenever any developer decides to neuter quickscoping in an effective way, you only get Youtube personalities and other people who use snipers for quickscoping starting Twitter campaigns to bring it back to how it was in MW2 when they work perfectly fine if you use them the way they should be used.

Hope they don't touch them. They have enough benefits as is.

Guys I just levelled up 4 more levels with the after action report saying I got new token each time but my total tokens haven't increased from the 10 that I had already.

What gives ???

I have run into a bug that still shows the unlocked gear for seraph that i already have. Also another bug when i am done with a match i still see my level count standing there when i am nearly on the next level minor annoying things.

I'm about three missions into the campaign - playing it co-op with some buddies - and it's just okay so far. I liked the campaigns for World at War and Black Ops, but Black Ops 2 and 3 aren't doing it for me so far.

Zombies...well I never liked zombies, so excuse me if I'm behind in this reaction, but holy shit there are so many little things in this game mode! It's pretty damn cool; I just wish I wasn't awful at it. My team had less than five downs each and I was at like 26.

Multiplayer is the shit though. Best map design since Black Ops 1 (I've found most of the recent CoD games to have terrible core map design, and usually I have to wait on the DLC for some good maps, like with Advanced Warfare), but I'm actually really enjoying the maps! I think I just hate Metro and maybe one or two more who's names escape me. Really like the movement system, though I miss being able to thrust dodge like in Advanced Warfare.

So yeah, really enjoyable so far.

I'm enjoying the game but some of the maps are Call Of Duty: Ghosts levels of bad. Infection and one of the urban maps, I've forgotten the name. Just ugh...

For those unaware, the "Personal Decorator" trophy has a ridiculous number of challenges associated with it, including but not limited to beating the game on veteran without using a checkpoint (no restarts), and beating the combat simulator on realistic.

The combat simulator is hardcore and without a doubt the most challenging segment of BO3. You need to clear 16 waves which get progressively more difficult with each wave, without dying once, on a one-hit kill difficult. There's no checkpoints or mercy - if you die, you're starting over. Man O War is no joke. That thing really works when the servers on are point. The Spectre is my favorite specialist due to looks but man his specials don't seem that great.

I wish they would add a mode or something that penalized people in objective games who didn't go or objectives, be it tags or control points. It's literally impossible to consistently have fun in those modes unless you're with a group. After almost 10 Call of Duty's, they still don't have a remedy for this. They probably don't care because it would piss off some of these dedicated cheesers.

My perfect streamer is someone who's really good (I'm good myself so I don't want to watch someone worse), that plays the objective and doesn't flame/trash talk constantly, basically someone chilled out. If anyone knows a guy like that let me know.

From what I saw CoD is their life and their stats mean more to them than oxygen and that's hard to support. I love the game and I always do my best but these boys take it to cringeworthy levels.

Mark of J doesn't curse, is very chill, and probably the best CoD player I've ever seen. Not sure if he streams much though, mainly a youtube thing.

Don't really dig the maps in this game so I've been mostly playing on Nuketown until the DLC hits with better maps hopefully.

in my experience the good players who take it more seriously dont have the best KDRs, because they are playing against other good players in arenas, etc - not pub starring it up all day

i had a 4.15 in blops1 because i was a try-hard in pubs. Since then ive been playing against better and better competition and have dropped in pretty much every subsequent COD, im barely above a 2.0 in blops3

I'm having trouble sprinting. It's like I sprint for a second then can't. Not sure if it is the controller or me anyone else have this issue?
