Finally fixed my leaderboards and friends list! If anyone is getting where you can't see friends on the leaderboards or when you press triangle and invite them, it's because if you have over 100 friends it will try show the first 100, regardless of if they have CoD or not. I can finally see you on my friends leaderboards Jorge

Feel like that, after the update, my connection has fallen back to Advanced Warfare levels.
I see a guy, shoot him ... only for him to turn around and kill me with 1 goddamn shot. That's ok. Shit happens. *checks playlist* O. Regular Kill Confirmed. Not Hardcore. Right! Let's try again! Yep! Happens again. WTF is this!? That, times 20.
I'm fine with the fact there are better players but since that update I'm dropping dead behind corners and failing to kill others more often. And I'm still seeing people go 20-0, take out an entire enemy team with one clip and walk away unscatched.

It feels weird to be the one not complaining about lag. I thought Ghosts started out bad, lag wise, but straightened up. AW...I felt it was always laggy, or something with the hit detection was wonky.
I still have the same exact connection and ISP but Black Ops 3 feels fine. My connection meter usually reads 17ms or 34ms. Numbers aren't everything but for me the numbers are truth and correlate with how my game feels.
*These 2 double kills with the heatwave spec are annoying for the Diablo armor. I can't even get one.

Yesterday, I played first few matches of CoD multiplayer in my life. I have 2 questions:
- is the TTK really low? How does it compare to say Battlefront or Battlefield?
- I played a little with the loadout and noticed one annoying thing: when I wanted to add something to my rifle, I got a message saying that I reached a maximum number of equipped objects and have to remove something else (grenade, modifier or even secondary weapon). Does it open later on or does the limit stay the same?

-it's pretty low, a bit lower than BF4 I'd say, like a bullet less overall, but depends on weapon, range yada yada
-you always have 10 things you can pick, that doesn't change and pretty much everything is 1 slot (except iirc the clan tag and kill counter you get on weapons if you prestige them, those don't take up a slot) so a rocket launcher takes the same one slot as a red dot sight, there is a number of how many things you have already in the upper right on create a class

Yeah I did the same. Kept it down to 90 of the people I play with regularly and the most. A lot of DGAF had to be cut

I don't know what's happened to the MM but it's turned to absolute shit in the last few days. They somehow seem to think putting one really high ranked player with the 5 worst players is equal to playing 6 average players.
I'm by no means a top dog at this game but it's frustrating as hell constantly being top while everyone else is going -5, -10, -15 and we're getting smashed by 30-40 kills. It's not just me either, I've been on teams where we've won by the same amount.
I think once 2XP is finished I'll be done with this for a while.

Any point in prestiging a second time? Any new challenges, or just a new prestige icon?
You're not done until you're prestige master (prestige 10)...

I've noticed this, I'm top more often than not and almost always highest prestige in the lobby and I'm always put with the Grandmas who go 3 - 30. It feels like I'm being handicapped for being good. I can't play Domination because players of that skill level refuse to go B and I can't solo cap 1v6, especially with part capping removed.

There isn't any SBMM on the level it was in AW, that's why. Everyone complained that everyone was too good in AW because of it.
Idk I feel like it works out, there's a top two players (me and someone else) and we go against each other, and I feel that's fair.
I noticed talking to teammates on mics work even if they don't use one. They tend to do as I say xD
What else would you suggest? All good in one team and the worst in other? Just like bo2 it evenly divides good players among the two teams yes sometimes you get with the worst of the worst teammates, but that happens. I'm not sure I have a better solution. You can always join up with people too

I know that feeling, it feels like the game tries to balance teams based on each player's skill which can result in good players being placed with bad ones. I need to try playing in a group for once to see how big a change that makes to the experience.

Uh, I know. But do you get anything after your 1st prestige? Do you get any new challenges, or just a new prestige icon? Otherwise I'll just stay at my second prestige and focus on unlocking all the specialist gear.

I feel we should do this more often, so much fun.

Went 33 and 6 in a TDM yesterday. Almost half the total kills allowed in a match lol.

Also everyone plays with the War Machine or Psychosis.
I am up for it. My PSN is the same as my name here. Seems impossible to do this new map with randoms. That's why I mostly stick to The Giant.

Yeah I've definitely run into my fair share of full parties who have stomped our team, I just wish that it was a bit more balanced when the lobby is mainly full of people playing solo.
Also those private lobbies sound fun, seems like there's a decent number of PS4 players in this thread.

Just never think about that. Kill Confirmed, Domination and Capture the Flag are all better for leveling btw.
Don't forget that there's also the mercenary playlist (it guarantees that everyone is playing solo and is not in a party).

That's not too surprising, it was never a very popular gametype.
I've gotten into a full map of mercenary moshpit one time on PS4. It was great.
mostly I'm playing Ground War and Core Domination now. Core Domination is the only mode in which I can reliably start getting my score streaks to go off because the capture, attacker kill, and defender kill scores are so valuable.

We had 9 players concurrently last night, first an extended 50-point match of free for all, then two 5v4 OBJ games. While I primarily play CoD for public matches and would love to see what kind of damage a big team of us can do in Ground War, the private lobbies were a lot of fun.

I don't think it'll be any worse for leveling than TDM. I like playing a variety of game modes so I can knock off the small challenges quickly, while working towards the big payoff challenges down the line. While it's harder to build up scorestreaks without objective points, you're still using your gun and working towards challenges for your attachments, perks, etc. I can say for myself I usually pull more kills in FFA (20+) than I do in other modes.
So short answer, play what you want to have fun, you're always working towards different challenges.
Plus, Free-For-All has one of the hardest challenges to complete, the Nuked Out challenge (get a Nuclear medal in FFA without using scorestreaks). The calling card is so worth it though.
