Hijacked is an awfully head glitchy map I hope it doesn't retain that. Getting Array vibes from Rise.
Cerberus is pretty much useless right? I average like .7 kills before it gets destroyed or just times out. It moves around like a defective Roomba vacuum, it's terrible. Have you guys had any luck with it?

Really curious with that 3 maps in 1 map in the DLC.
My thoughts are that it may be a combined map like Titanfall with 3 different environments.
Or a VR type map like the WW2 one?
Haha looks great xDLol @ EspanaJeff's pistols.
Vision Pulse tag kills are a nightmare. So many times I've been SURE I got one, nope...
Haha looks great xD

whats funny about this:
1) this was literally my first black ops 3 round ever, where i started with a rifle class and not an smg (maybe thats telling me something)
2) after a series of deaths at 28, 29 kills - i die immediately after 30 in this one
gonna work on the FFA one maybe in a few weeks, after i get a bit further with my specialists unlocks and such, im confident i'll get it done
can anyone recommend a capture card? i'm really tired of the ps4 capture, want 60fps gameplay videos
I figured Hijacked would be remade, and depending on how the remake is, I'm glad. I really hope we get Standoff remade from Black Ops 2. That was such a fucking amazing map.
I plugged in my Xbox 360 tonight and played some Black Ops 2. Wow, this game feels much better than Black Ops 3. People aren't all over the map the whole time, power positions actually matter as people can't fly into them with an SMG by just holding a button, people aren't flying through the air into your face out of nowhere, the game wasn't so geared towards the spastic run and gun style, and other styles felt much more viable, and the game just feels more tactical, and requires more wits and intelligence, with some tweaks and changes, it'd be even better. Less flinch if you're using toughness (I believe). Suppressors don't totally gimp your LMG, or Assault rifle. No specialist crap. (Which are honestly worse than death streaks in my opinion, and just feel a bit better maybe to some, I think, because sure, bad players get them, but you will too if you're a good player.)
Black Ops 3 is definitely better than Advanced Warfare and Ghosts, but Black Ops 2 easily beats Black Ops 3 in my opinion.
Why doesn't anyone play CTF anymore?
It's been the best game mode since MW2 and no one plays it.
Awesome stuff but this is why i dont play domination. its fucking broken.
The DLC was a non-announcement outside of the images though. They always release the first map pack at the end of January/beginning of February.
Would like a better look at those images though...
edit: found a pic. Definitely a hijacked remake. Like the look of that waterpark. Gauntlet has my curiosity too, what with the 3 different images of 3 rather different environments.
I wonder if the pack will have any new guns. Or Treyarch could be cool and release a new weapon free to everyone, so that no one complains about balance or what have you.
I pretty much disagree with your entire post as well. HahaYikes. I pretty much disagree with this whole post.
Specialists worse than deathstreaks made me lol. Toughness was the biggest crutch perk other than stopping power in CoD history. It had some of the worst maps in CoD history also. Who cares what silencers did or didn't do the LMGs they were garbage in that game. Gun balance was also way worse. Scorestreaks were too powerful. People run and gun more in Black Ops 3, but it beats camping to get your overpowered Loadster.
Yup, big time. It was much more tactical and required more planning and thinking in my opinion. I miss that too.when I go back and play BO2 multiplayer, and ones before that, one thing that always strikes me is the gunfights that emerge from trying to hold down certain places on a map. I certainly miss that from the last few CoD's where the maps and gameplay are designed for you to be constantly moving.
I hope so! I think I said it in one of my earlier posts earlier in the thread, but I really hope we also get a remake of Standoff from Black Ops 2.The hijacked remake is gonna be amazing.
That was great congrats!!
Are you in ps4? Edit: yeah you are. We should play together some time.
I also run smgs, just more fun for me, but I can see how AR might be better for nuclears
I pretty much disagree with your entire post as well. Haha
How are specialists not worse? Deathstreaks like painkiller were annoying sure. But everyone can get a war machine, a scythe? Etc?
It's a way to essentially give bad players free, very powerful killstreaks. Death streaks were crap, but less harmful to the game. Like I said, I think people complain about specialists less because everyone gets them, whereas bad players only got death streaks, which made it more insulting to good players. This way it lessens some of those bad feelings, while still giving crappy players a free reward for basically nothing.
Ahh, but I never said toughness should be retained as a perk. I meant hat the level of flinch for everyone should be reduced to toughness levels from Black ops 2 or around there, without having to use a perk, just as part of the base game mechanics. Less stupid random headshots from the tons of aim assist and flinch mechanics in COD.
Black ops 2 had some great maps, and I completely disagree with that notion. Advanced warfare, ghosts, and MW3 had many of the worst maps in the COD series.
I care what about how silencers affect LMG's. LMG's were awesome in that game! The MK48 was a fucking monster, the LSAT was great, the Hamr (or however it was spelled) was fantastic when used properly.
I'm not even sure how to judge the Black Ops 3 maps. With it being a sprint fest, and people being able to float around, it's much more of a spazzes jungle fm vibe, and it's hard to actually determine how good maps are when so much of the tactical side is no longer present because of the unlimited sprint and movement system.
Gun balance was awesome in that game. Score streaks weren't overpowered really either. In this game, everyone shoots things down so constantly and easily, it's ridiculous. The lodestar probably could have been beefed a bit, but it was a damn high score streak to begin with I believe. It wasn't super common to see them from my experience.
I don't have a problem with run and gun play styles, I have a problem with a game bein so catered to it, and just spazzing around the map with SMG's. Black ops 2 made other styles of play much more viable.
I don't think I'm generalizing at all. I think he sounds like an exception. Was he playing with a party? Headphones and awareness? Those things matter too.thanks
you are really generalizing here, imo
i forget the name of the kid, but someone linked a twitch stream a week ago where he was dropping 8.0KDR and 400SPM NOT being the run and gun guy, he was basically playing a reserved, casual style of COD using the m8 and dominating people
black ops 3 is a SMG fest not because thats the only way to play it and be successful, its an SMG fest because movement in this game is designed well, and its fun to utilize
its still a great game with viable strategies to hold back and blast people with rifles or LMGs
Eww no way. I hate Fringe, and Standoff is one of my favorite maps in any CoD game probably. They are very different. It's also a map that shows how badly the movement system hurts power positions. There are four ways to get into the barn for instance. With people moving so fast, and being able to thrust into a window with the SMG, how on earth is someone supposed to defend against that? Especially when you get a kill, and people can get back to you as fast as ever, and try thrusting right into the window again.Fringe is basically Standoff with the gas station area cut off, missing some of the lines of sights but the basic layout of the map and key building positionings are identical.
That's the kind of stuff I'm talking about. Sure the movement system can be fun to use, but it really hurts the game.My only gripe with this game is how people are all over the map. The mobility makes enemies unpredictable. I can't count how many times I get shot from behind or killed within 2 seconds of spawning.
