From what I understand, Treyarch has a bunch of dedicated servers, but if they are full, it will put you in a pvp game. I remember seeing some guy testing this in the beta. Most of the time he would connect to some server in Florida but every now and then it would change.

I usually get a 33 ms ping whenever i play which remains consistent through out. Very rarely do i get any spikes and that's when I know i am in a PvP match.

I am pulling this out of my ass but I really believe they have dedicated servers in most big markets.

I've literally never played a game of dom on Exodus. Does it even have a dom map? lol
 
They really need to fix this fucking stupid inactivity 'fix'. If I'm sat there not spawning in, then by all means go for it. I've been kicked while waiting for a care package, kicked while reloading, etc. Forget about camping out a spot (and therefore tactical play).

why is nuketown a secret map. Should be a standard map in the rotation.

any website that tells you the stats increase/decrease for attachments on each weapon? cant find any.

That's the full match if you want to see it. Personally it's not my favorite game since I was killed off of my Mothership multiple times and it irritated me. Thankfully I got the Wraith/RAPS a couple of times so it evened out (not getting a Mothership tends to be a rare occurrence for me, and thus I hope you understand my frustration).
 
Just got prestige 2. Not feeling the hype this game is getting

Campaign was mediocre

Multiplayer
  • still has the same problems BO2 had with dodgy connection, hit detection and paper-thin walls
  • cant cancel reload, movement seems delayed when trying to drop-shot
  • perks are not worth it as people just put 5 attachments on gun
  • scorestreaks take to long to get and are ineffective
  • maps are decent
  • specialist has fit in nicely, some need tweaking tho
  • high-caliber is OP as fuck. People don't even try to shoot my head but they flinch from my shot and get a lucky headshot.

    Haven't had much problem, using wired connection. The walls are definitely not thing, they're the opposite, you can't shoot through shit w/o FMJ

    I love the perks Flak Jacket, and Dead Silence. Also I use Ghost, which is very effective if you keep moving, but needs some tweaks. Perks like Engineer, Awareness (dumb perk), Fast Hands, Sixth Sense are all pretty good also.

    I think this is good. Requires more gun to gun action, and less realiance on scorestreaks to alter the game. Things like Lightning Strike, Hellstorm, Cerebreus, RAPS are all good

Honestly by the time you beat it you're going to think its the worst campaign ever and that it was extremely confusing, long, and made absolutely no sense whatsoever. It's the type of campaign where you need to watch a video or two explaining what exactly happened so that you get the big "Ooooooooooh" moment. So yeah, it'll seem like a pretty bad campaign, but everything Treyarch did was intentional.

In fact, I like this detail they added (read if you've finished the campaign):
As we all know, Corvus was the main antagonist (even though nothing after the second mission in the game actually happened). However, "Corvus" is also the name of a genus of birds in which crows, ravens, and the like are a part of. This is why whenever your DNI starts glitching out, you usually see crows/ravens.

As far as I know, you get a new class every time you prestige automatically (I may be wrong).

Well, CP is for Black Market, classes, and Liquid Divinium for zombies.

Well, attachment variants are cosmetic changes to the attachment of a certain weapon that are made to look cooler. You can toggle the different look for attachments by pressing triangle or Y while looking at the attachment. For example, my Weevil has a legendary fore grip attachment. Instead of the regular round and circular fore grip, I can change it and use the legendary fore grip instead (which is much more sharp and straight). They cause the gun to look slightly different, and are there for customization.

After someone is master prestige they can go all the way to level 1000 (each level needing more and more XP to level up). They're also able to choose any prestige icon they want. Every 100 levels you're able to equip the prestige icon of past Call of Duties (WaW and Blops series for sure, unsure about the InfinityWard games though). Level 100 = you can equip the prestige one symbols from past games, level 200 = you can equip the prestige two symbols from past games, all the way to level 1000 (where you can choose the prestige master symbol from any game in the franchise).

The most I've seen is level 385. He was using BO2's scorpion emblem.
