The Gun itself is already Maxed out, but if I hover over Laser Sight a star appears next to Weapon Level or if I hover over Long Barrel two stars appear.

Or are you telling me I can prestige attachments?

I have no idea then, maybe just a bug?

Do you have variants of those attachments?

Maybe an indicator of a legendary attachment variant?

I ran care package/engineer 90% of the time and I never saw it give a mothership.

Pretty fucked up that the highest scorestreak can be destroyed easily by one Dart.

That's probably my fastest mothership going down on me. Only got 1 kill. lol

Ive taken down motherships real fast with annihilator. It's b.s that specialist weapons can do that.

H.A.T.R is the only streak with specialist immunity.

Im pretty disappointed in the scorestreaks. I like that they moved something like uav to 5 kills, but dislike how quickly people take them down. Specialist weapons, other scorestreaks, ghost, rockets all counter basic streaks

I wish uav and cuav had a small bit of camo like the wraith

Any player who feels like taking down streaks can. The only reason most stresks survive is because pub players are too dumb.

BO2 really had awesome killstreaks.

The whole idea of lock on launchers is lame too. Free firing rockets that need to be properly aimed would have been much better

Joined a game 2nd half domination

Losing like 30-100

Got two raps and caught up to 190-200. I screwed up and lost C by not paying attention...we may have won otherwise. Felt so GOOD to call in two RAPs

Just bought the game for £35 off PSN with birthday money. Haven't played a CoD game since Black Ops 2 (which I enjoyed, though not as much as the first). Did I make a good decision GAF?

Ugh, 6 more underwater kills and 10 more Low Blows and I get master boot camp and that awesome calling card with it. They really need to come up with a map with more water in the DLC, nobody ever goes into water.

Then there's the crazy challenge where you have to be drowning and your enemy must also be drowning and you must get a kill...

ive never seen a mothership. I take it you can't get it and GI unit on a care package?
Never seen motherdhip in a care package and this is coming from a dude who ran care package alot. Gi Unit? Yea a couple of times...mother ship? Lol no

It looks so huge on the mini map too

How to make enemies rage quit:

Sit at the back of the map with a blackcell and tempest/annihilator and shoot down everything. I've shot down so many wraiths and Cerberus before they could get to the map lol.

Maybe the scorestreaks do need a buff.

Okay so let's hypothetically day the 3 shot kill range for the Kuda is 25m and the four shot kill range is 50m (they aren't). With a silencer, they will go down to 15m and 40m, respectively. Range is reduced by a certain percentage depending on the weapon class.

Edit: Did they secretly lower the Mothership's health? I find it is getting shot down faster than usual..

I want to know if they've re-adjusted the Rolling Thunder too.

When they buffed things the Rolling Thunder was insane, no matter how deep I was in a building I was dead if I was in the flight path.

Now I survive, and I used it a few times lately and got very poor return, similar to how it was pre-buff.

I used it twice on Nuk3town and got just one kill.

Anybody experiencing trouble with their emblems, paint shop, etc? Just fired up BO3 and my emblem is set to default,my clan tag is also locked. Everything is locked except the calling cards, even my friends emblems have been set to default. Also to get it out of the way,NO I don't have a offensive clan tag or emblems.

Check Options -> Content Filter, make sure User Generated Content is enabled.

I used that option to avoid Star Wars spoilers.

Anybody experiencing trouble with aiming? Haven't played in couple days and the aiming feels really heavy. I know it's not the sensitivity and the aiming feels like heavy and slow.

Thanks man.

And yeah, rolling thunder is very underpowered. I'd rather it not go down the whole map and simply cover the area I target. It's way too slow to accurately kill enemies.

Also, do you guys think this is the BEST Call of Duty in terms of perk balance?

It certainly seems that way to me.

Just look at this balance:

Tier 1: Sixth Sense, Overclock, Flak Jacket, Ghost.
Tier 2: Fast Hands, Ante Up, Hard Wired, Scavenger.
Tier 3: Blast Suppressor, Gung Ho, Awareness, Dead Silence, Tactical Mask.

Afterburner, Tracker, Engineer all seem like second class perks, and Blind Eye and Cold Blooded are going to be very dependent on the scorestreaks present.

Do you guys have any "Crutch" perks? I have to always use ante up. I need to probably get used to letting that go, but it's too often that I die just 100 points away from my streak, so I can't give it up.

Anyone experiencing random lag spikes?

Everything will look normal, and then my network graph will jump to like 400 MS.

Im not sure if it affects performance, but Im wired and shouldnt be experiencing this

Afterburner is great because if you look at Drift0r's wall run guides, many of the maps in the game can be circumnavigated without ever touching the ground once (however, this requires afterburner more often than not). It's a great perk for moving fast, stealthy, and unexpectedly IF you know how to traverse the map.

Tracker is godly for Search and Destroy, and is actually pretty useful when running around enemy territory (just follow the footprints and get a free kill most of the time).

Engineer is a MUST HAVE for any class working to take down kill streaks. You can see streaks through walls AND on your minimap (even the Wraith shows up as a red sillohoutte on the minimap and using Enginner lets you lock onto it while cloaked), and it works great with EMPs, Blackcells, Scavenger, Cold blooded, and Blind Eye.

Fast Hands is amazing ONLY if you use it in combination with QuickDraw (since you can only aim faster after sprinting when using them both) or if you use a lot of equipment.

Scavenger is nice for maintaining streaks and keeping your weapon.

Ghost is my must have perk. I hate it when people see me on the minimap and I'm always rushing so it's amazing to be able to sneak past people and get a lot of free kills.

Overclock works nice with things like the Ripper, Glitch, and Combat Focus.

Hard Wired protects you from A LOT, but it's psychological because you can't notice that it's actually protecting you (aside from obviously not being effected by Power Cores or CUAVs).

However, there is one perk that is DEFINITELY overpowered (or at least incredibly strong), and it is Awarness. Even with some cheap headphones, you can hear people through walls and from a mile away (ESPECIALLY if you use Awarness and Dead Silence together). I'm not joking, Awarness + Dead Silence + Supercrunch (sound setting) will make you practically immortal to the point of almost cheating. Personally, I don't use it because I'm just not that type of person, but you'll definitely notice an enemy using that combination (when in the kill cam they turn around for no apparent reason, or when they automatically figured out where you were). It sucks too, because Dead Silence DOES NOT counter Awareness (Awareness counters Dead Silence). I really feel like this perk is the only one that needs tweaking.

So...uh...
Just met two guys who were level 1000. How the hell did they even hack this on PS4?
I presume you can hop between generations, so my guess would be they hack on the hacked older consoles then you carry on playing on the new consoles with your hacked level.

Don't they just ban them? How stupid do they have to be for giving themselves level 1000.

They probably will after the Christmas break.

I noticed some people with Dark Matter and stupid levels that when you look at their Recent Games in their Showcase they don't even play much, like a couple of games a week.

Someone has boosted themselves a level 1000 account and is using an account duplication glitch to give it to others. This glitch was revealed over a month ago and it's terrible from Treyarch that they haven't fixed it.

Wow holy shit they still haven't fixed it? Hopefully it will happen soon and those people who used it get resetted to level 1.

My dislike with Awareness is people who clearly have better headsets that can hear so well with awareness. Im using my headset, but it's too cheap to produce the quality expensive headsets have.

So if someone affords the headset, he can use awareness and dead silence to pinpoint any enemy. I'd rather deal with stealth players who run around the map than deal with awareness users who can accurately cover a given area.

This is mostly in pub matches though. A team can coordinate well to overwhelm an awareness user, but it's really frustrating to deal with awareness + supercrunch + expensive headset users.

How would you tweak awareness? Reduce the effective radius or what? Make Dead Silence counter Awareness completely? I worry about stealth rushers who can run past trip wires with Flak Jacket or Hardwired.

I'm so sick of the Haymaker being garbage. What is the point of having a weapon that only works at close range if it doesn't even excel at that range? What is the point of ADS tightening spread if a tighter spread doesn't increase TTK? What is the point of getting headshots if it still takes 3 hits minimum to kill anyone?

It never needed that stupid nerf it got early on. If you want to balance it without making the Brecci feel obsolete (right now it's the other way around. The Brecci fires nearly as fast as the Haymaker while maintaining a 2-hit kill in most ranges) then give the Haymaker a shorter range and the Brecci a longer range, but make both of them capable of getting 2-hit kills.
Haymaker is pretty laughable because of headshots hardly changing its TTK. Brec needs to be a 1 headshot kill at extremely close ranges <2m. Haymaker needs to be changed into a 2 headshot kill at close range. KRM needs to have its 1 shot kill range buffed to at least 5m(ADS or not). Argus is pretty much perfect right now.

Man, rolling thunder is hilariously bad right now. So easy to avoid considering how laughably slow before the first plane even hits. They need to change it to hit through buildings on the flight path at least. Either that or lower the cost of the damn thing, because it's not worth the points right now

Also, I finally have gameplay of myself up.

Here's me somehow living a close range confrontation against a group of 5+ people:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJxO6sH2eqI

A slow burn game of domination on breach. Ended up with an insane amount of caps and defends:

Then a really dominating performance on combine:

I know, it's kind of like pay to win in a certain way. Buy an expensive headset and automatically be able to detect anyone around you (if you're a relatively decent player)!

Hmm, even then a coordinated team would have to flank an Awarness user from multiple different areas at the same time (going through one area at the same time will likely just give the Awareness user multiple kills, and going through many different areas NOT at the same time just means that he will hear anyone that tries to sneak up on him. A team must attack an Awareness user from many angles simulataneously). It is possible to kill someone with Awareness by crouching (if you're crouched you make absolutely no sound), but it is very ineffective.

Yeah, a way to tweak it might be to make Dead Silence counter it completely, but then Dead Silence might be a crutch perk. I think a better way to go would be to make Awareness the way it was in BO2 (if I recall correctly, it didn't make footsteps louder, and if it did it didn't make them THAT much louder. However, it made it so different footsteps had noticeably different sounds. You can distinguish someone walking on wood or snow or cement).

One of the main reasons they're making a water park(Splash) in the dlc is to emphasize underwater combat. So you're in luck

I played for a bit a few minutes ago and I had a few games where there was just a HUGE lag spike even though everyone in the game had full green bars except for one guy who was one short of all bars. I'd get one at least once a game and I'm also on a wired connection. I guess I'll try again tonight and see if it's gone.

Just came here to say: Damn the Haymaker is probably the worst gun in the game, they really nerfed it to hell.

Is pretty awesome in hardcore, that's true

Which animated calling cards are the easiest to get?

Probably the specialist one, most involves getting a number of kills with each specialist weapon, is mostly a matter of time so is certainly quite doable in comparisson with most I checked.

So I actually turned in game music down and SFX at 10, and I can definitely hear enemies generally coming from certain areas.

A better headset must be insanely good if people pay more for surround sound

I havent ran into anyone with dead silence just yet, but Im curious if they are indeed audible

It seems that those 2 perks are really the must haves in that category

I actually wish something like power core could cause static in your hearing, so you cant hear the callouts and stuff like that

They are, (I mean I am), people constantly turn 180º when I try to follow them with dead silence. Somestimes must be hard with all the gunfires and sounds, but if if there's no much turmoil they can hear you. You mostly wear dead silence to avoid you own sound getting in the way.

the one involving completing all the missions of the game in the hardest difficulty without dying?

You only have to do one mission without dying, on hard/vet/realistic. The shit part is just going through the game on realistic. Tools of the trade takes some time as you need 300 kills for particular ones.
Career is doable as well, aside from the combat immersion shit, I don't know if they fixed the godmode glitch for it. I haven't tried.

I'd give it like half a day just do bang out.
