It's not like they're actual weapons though, they are extremely subpar weapons at best.
So stupid, I thought Treyarch was smarter than this, although they may have no say.
Was holding off on the season pass in case they pulled something like this, now I don't want to give them any extra money even though I want to play the new maps.

Sucks for the OT, it was already struggling as of late. I'll still stick around for some games of multiplayer and regular zombies sessions though. Especially as more zombie maps are released throughout the year

I want the MX Garand. If I can get that in my next supply drop I won't sell the game.
Still, at closer ranges, the OHK potential combined with the lack of hip-spread and the fire-rate could prove to be a deadly weapon. It's like a ballistic knife on steroids.

I don't really mind the DLC weapons. I don't have any interest in getting them or using them (except for knife skins, but only to use them as showcase weapons). They don't seem like legitimate weapons to me, and I'm not too worried about what'll happen.

It gets to the point where I don't bother with Gaming side anymore. All it is, is a bunch of reactionaries bitching about things. From framerate, to graphical downgrades, etc.

My thoughts exactly, having a ton of fun using the "vanilla" weapons and still in the process of doing my dark matter so I really have no interest in more weapons personally. I can understand the vets with their gold specialist skins and dark matters being maybe a bit salty though.
Also the patch finally hit the pc version and I'm digging it, from what I've seen so far the lighting changes on Hunted are brilliant.
PS. Been fiddling around with the motion blur setting as of late and I must say this is the first game where I feel as if its done somewhat right, not only does it look pretty cinematic but it also makes the game look/feel a bit smoother. In the grand scheme of things though, I suppose it makes it harder to hit shit but it sure looks purdy!

I've been saving crypto keys for some time now and just spent 640 all on rares. Between burning duplicates and the bonus keys from the rare crates I opened 26 rare drops.
Got the sword, which was the only weapon and the rest were a mixed bag of crap I could care less about. I did get a hilarious pink 80's outfit for Battery which will be fun to annoy people with.
Took photos of all the drops if anyone is interested. I can upload them once google photos syncs.

Just played against a dude with the crossbow. He basically was sliding around OHKing people left and right. Got me a bunch of times. It's only one data point, but he sure was having a good game with it. Went like 24-11 in TDM, so it wasn't completely OP but given it's a secondary weapon and he was using it as a primary he did pretty darn well.

What in the hell is going on with the map rotation in this game? Amazon had it for 20£ so I decided heh why not... been playing for a couple of hours and I've only ever played in one map (called Combine). Over and over and over and over. What the fuck is going on here?

Bought the game last weekend and I've been having a good time with it. I was in the Beta last year and enjoyed it, but didn't bother picking it up at launch.
Either way, I'm level 21 at the moment. It also seems that sniper rifles aren't really a viable option anymore. Most of the maps seem to cater to the other weapons types. I also saw someone with, what seemed to be, the shotgun pistol.

Aye, the duplicate system is a pain. Got a duplicate epic item in a common chest. But hey, it gave me enough for another common!
Hope Treyarch has another x2 Cryptokeys weekend coming up soon. This one wouldn't be a bad fit...
Maybe they could make the gun weapons available for everyone (or DLC/Season pass owners) after a reasonable amount of time has passed, and like... more gun weapons are available in the black market. You know, still give value to their Supply Drops for the time being, but don't make it so your chance of ever touching these weapons relies on an RNG that's just as likely to spit out a duplicate calling card as it is to give you one of the new guns. I can get never having a full camo/variant/calling card/emblem collection, due to the randomness of supply drops and propensity for duplicates, but never being able to use all of the guns seems like just... just a bad idea.

Shady how? Crypto Key gain is determined by match duration (plus a win bonus), not frequency. If anything, they made it so that you can now earn more Cryptokeys per TDM game.

Lol at this silent one hit kill weapon, I love that you can retrieve your bolts too. Firerate is decent, range is meh, I'm using it like a silent shotgun. Run, slide hipfire works best for me, with all the stealth perks.
I still want the Fury Song and MX Garand the most though.

I knew something was up after getting so many hit markers with the M8 (in hardcore) now....
That's what laser sights are for.
Do we think the Shadowclaw is good? Tri-bolt and scavenger seem like a necessity, can't make much use of it.
EDIT: A silent shotgun sounds like the best way to describe. I'm sure some will be able to at some point, but I can't make good use of it from long range without wasting it's ammo.
