It's certainly subjective, I don't think it "shits", but I much prefer it. Thankfully, they're different enough to enjoy separately for those that dig them.
I have a newer xbone controller that has the jack. tried it with that and am getting the same issue. thought the adapter would fix.
Silly question, but would the fact that I'm on a 14 day live trial affect that?

For me it's a BIG return to form. Having Sunk around 5 hours into it now I'm loving it the more I play. I wasn't a fan of the boosting/wall running in AW but I think it's been well integrated here. Some of the maps are superb. Breach and Fringe being the stand out for me.
Best cod since blops 2 that's for sure. Hell it might even replace that if I'm still playing this in months to come.

This snippet from a review made me really want to play the campaign, but the damn PC port seems like crap and I don't have a console. :/

Waiting for the campaign to install and on the main menu there are weird scary sounds going on in the background
My gamestop had 30 people this at open this morning and supposedly had a ton ast night for midnight release. I was actually surprised by the amount of people buying it on x1 over ps4.

I had a weird issue tonight - my X1 uses instant on, and since BO3 was the last game I played it resumed no problem, but the multiplayer was 30fps locked instead of 60fps. Absolutely 100% certain it was not running at 60fps. I'll be going back on in an hour or so, so I'll have to see if it happens again.

After playing Halo 5 I can't stop pressing A to sprint which sucks because I kind of preferred it. Also can't remember what sensitivity I used in the beta.

Its definitely up there with greats like Advanced Warfare's House of CoDs and Left 4 Dead 2's The South Rises Again.This might be Gaf's greatest title.
This is easily the least excited I've been for a COD, despite being from the best developer of the franchise. I bought it last night, got home and put it in, waited 45 min to download the 2.5GB patch (what a joke). After all that, I could barely find the energy to start playing it. I played like 5 matches and it was pretty fun. I'll give it another go when I get home. I think Battlefield ruined COD for me.

I'm still blown away by people who'll spend $50-$60 for a 6 hour COD campaign.

This is the true evolution of the FPS. Responsive as fuck, gorgeous, fast, and frentic.
Connections are instantaneous and you're square into the action.
Moving around is SHARP. Compared to AW, it's on a totally different level.
I'm not a tech wizard when it comes to scalable resolutions, but I can say it moves fast, plays fast, and this is what I envisioned when I bought my ps4.
This SMOKES Halo in every conceivable way so far.

Did you check to see if there was a controller or adapter update? Are you on the new NXE dash? I've heard a few people with Astros have the same problem on the new dash.
To answer question no a trial should not have anything to do with that
Honestly, the PC port is fine.
I would say more people are playing it without a problem than those who are suffering the odd hiccup.
Plus Treyarch seem to be working hard to fix any issues, they just released a small patch to fix the i5 problems.
Go to Bonus modes, it has it's own playlist.

Sounds like same issue people with Astros on new dash are having. Even my Turtle Beaches would do it at times. Hard reset or switch from party to gamschat back to party a few times and it should fix it.
