On another note, why are the SMGs not named Kuda/Razorback/Pharo has a high RoF and moderate to high recoil? I almost see no point in using them as the higher firerate doesn't balance out with the downsides they have.

What? Seriously some of the best guns for MP! Except you are on the slow, defensive, long range playstyle but anyway I wouldn´t recomment this. This game excells at run and gun.

The campaign should have revolved around some or all of the Specialists in MP. Just going off of their backgrounds, they are far more interesting than pretty much everyone in the actual campaign.

Oh man Weevil is amazing, and lots of people love the VMP; which I think is decent.

Just dropping by to mention how thrilled I am that there's a CoD where I'm actually enjoying the multiplayer again. I'm glad that there's no more crazy vertical scaling on maps and it's back to the classic 3 corridor awesomeness.

Previously I always used the M16 + stopping power, and I'm glad that there's another replacement for that as assault rifles were usually not that great in the later CoD's. Praise the XR2 with high caliber. That thing annihilates with headshots.

I feel the best guns are still in the ARs and LMGs, but some of the more balanced SMGs are up there too. The higher firerate ones and Weevil are not that good imo. They excel in close range, but they lose out much faster vs. other SMGs.

Weevil is like a garbage version of the VMP, imo. 4HK, lower firerate, with only its larger magazine giving it a benefit. Vesper has the highest firerate going for it and the VMP is a balance between the Weevil and VMP, but there isn't much going for our P90 clone. If they went with a similar recoil plot the P90 has in MW1/2, it probably would play out much better.

yes, unlock prestige token can unlock pretty much anything from the start

As Bishop said, yes. Prestiging gives a token that keeps whatever you pick permanently unlocked, but at the cost of being lv1 again. You keep weapons attachments though and you gain another custom class slot.

I wasn't going to prestige until I was done playing for good because I love my Nomad dearly. So, to be clear, I can prestige and unconditionally pick a loadout + Specialist to take with me back to level 1? Or is it conditional upon completing all of the gun/specialist/perk levels to be able to take any of those items with me? Can I use a prestige token for each loadout item and Specialist, or do I just get one token to use on one item?

It is not good for a full loadout. You will be lv1 again with everything locked like a lv1 character, but with another custom loadout slot to customize and 1 permanent unlock token that you can use anything that's locked like say becoming a nomad at lv1 instead of lvling up all the way to it again, or using the token on a high level weapon.

It bocomes permanently unlocked even if you prestige a second time or more. Prestiging more and more is the way to get the good stuff that you like to become available all the time, but only one thing each time, and to gain more loadout slots.

Yeah I just read about it. That sucks! I need the Razorback and Nomad at all times lol. I never understood the point of prestiging aside from bragging rights (and a trophy) but now with Specalists it's even more pointless. You are seriously disadvantaged without your main weapon or your preferred Specialist.

On a separate note, I just remembered that I'm supposed to receive some skins and stuff for prestiging in a previous COD game. I linked my account and everything, but where do I go to get those rewards?

1. You get more custom classes, I use different guns for different maps so its nice to have variants, even just different perks for the same gun if the game calls for it. 2. If you prestige once you unlock prestige challenges which will get you more calling cards to unlock. 3. Yeah some of it is for bragging rights. 4. I like seeing a progress bar go up, staying at 55 is kinda boring to me.

Managed to get my first gold camo. For the Argus! Talk about a tricky weapon.

How do you get a gold camo? I have max level on my HVK-30 but I don't remember getting a gold camo (but I could have missed it).

Yeah, I use the same gun on all maps, I'm a long-distance player. Are calling cards those rectangles that display your name and a picture? It's just cosmetic, right? I agree on the stats progression, it's a lot of fun to see those numbers go up!

Prestige 7 in BO2, only got a gun camo. It should be a calling card, camo and reticle I think.

It varies from weapon to weapon, but for most you have to first get 100 headshots (earning different camos at certain intervals on the way to 100) then complete a set of challenges, each earning a different camo. The challenges are stuff like get 5 double kills with the weapon. Get 5 bloodthirsty medals with the weapon. Get 50 kills with the weapon with no attachments. Get 50 kills with the weapon with 5 attachments and an optic. And get 10 revenge kills with the weapon. I think that's all of them. Once you complete those, you get Gold.

It was easy to get the preliminaries with the Argus though, since it only had to get 100 one shot, one kill medals, and if you aren't killing your enemies in one shot with the Argus, you're probably dead before you can get a second shot on them.

I'm still shaking my head at the campaign.

Say what you will about the Order 1886, at least that game was boring enough to let me know not to waste any more time playing it 3 hours in. The BO3 campaign was this mix of mediocrity and awfulness that kept me in by a sliver of a hair, hoping it would get better or at least pay off somehow, before crashing down to earth with one of the worst end levels ever, making you realize your entire time invested in the campaign was literally for nothing.

I'm gonna write a long detailed post about this sometime so I can just vent and put it to bed forever.

Oh cool, they cut down the number of kills for no attachments. 150 kills was extremely too much in BO2 and just dragged on.

Also, they need to speed up gun leveling a lot. At least for some weapons. I've got gold camo on the Argus and I still haven't reached level 12 with it. For full prestige, I'm expected to do that twice more. And that's just one gun.

I am a few missions in. I'm having a hard time trying to finish it. Been playing MP and Zombies the whole time.

I may just have to suck it up and finish it to unlock Nightmares.

There's only one more campaign challenge that I need to complete. The "beat a level without dying on hardened, veteran or realistic" one. But there's always some kind of nonsense that happens which ends up killing me, even in the first mission so it's kind of pissing me off. Has anyone done this who has some tips about an easy level or loadout for it?

New World is probably your best bet, it's the tutorial level so there's plenty of cover and non-aggressive enemies.

Also wanting on an answer on this.

i can confirm in the mission: Provocation, theres a section where there are a endless stream of soldiers running on a lower street, you can sit there and pop them for as long as you like, if you run out of ammo, theres a ammo crate upstairs, rince and repeat, im trying to see if i can find a better spot

how can I put emblems on my guns?
I believe you have to go to paint shop by pressing start, then create a paint job for that particular gun, then go to create a class and equip that paint on your gun by pressing triangle on it.

Unless you mean putting your own emblem on to guns. I don't know if that's possible. I do know that prestiging a gun lets you put your clan tag on it. I'm not sure about emblems.

Made an emblem. Didn't know what to put on it so I put one of my favorite boss fights from one of my favorite games from this year.

that is what I mean.
In BO1 and 2 you could create an emblem and put that on your gun.

an other question: what is the difference between my avarage score per minute and K/D and my overall score per minute and K/D?

I'm not going to play another shitty inconsistent game. It's the same issue every single year. It's probably never going to get fixed.

I played a few matches last night and did much better. I was actually able to manage a positive k/d in all the matches I played by slowing way down and playing at my speed instead of letting the speed of the game dictate it.

The maps are, for the most part, so fucking gorgeous... Like better looking than the campaign levels. Redwood is amazing.

The VMP is a beast haha. Not too shabby medium range either. I tried the vesper but I don't like it as much as BO2s skorpion. Both highest rof in class but the skorpion didn't completely become useless outside of short range. So VMPs my fave smg for now.

I love shooting shit out of the sky though, and that's really hard in Redwood. And is it me or is Redwood pretty rare in the map rotation, only played on it twice so far.

Getting close to my second weapon prestige with the Kuda. Maybe it's time to play with another weapon. Maybe the Gorgon.

It's amazing to see the divisiveness between what guns people like. Some like X gun but some hate X gun. It really shows the balance between the weapons. Good on Treyarch.

The game is great. Movement is oh so fluid, and it feels different but it still feels like the CoD I used to love. I liked Advanced Warfare but it didn't give me those BLOPS 1 and 2 feel. This one does. I do want them to bring in more of the ante up game modes. One in the Chamber mostly. Unlock points are good and not overwhelming like those stupid care package things. Also, the maps. Dear lord they are great. This setup of lanes is fantastic and everything feels good to play on and uses the new movement great. Also, the revelations to be had while exploring the maps too.

For example: on metro, the whole left/right side depending on where you spawn is water. It's great.

Zombies is hard as hell lol and I need to play it more to get a better grip on it.

SP is eh. Was reaaaaaaaaally wanting more out of it. I don't even know who we are fighting and the story just isn't engrossing. Honestly probably my least favorite campaign so far. Need to play more. I will say, the Shanghai mission was pretty neat to look at.

I agree with basically everything you said.

Just sometimes, very very short moments, I wish the TTK was a tiny bit longer cause I feel I could have still done something. But then again, with the respawn time being seriously 0.5 seconds, it's not like a death takes you out of the game much

Inconsistent as in? Lag? Teammates?

I've had a few issues with lag for sure but generally my experience has been positive.
I'll just quote myself. I'm done with the game as long as this kind of stuff keeps happening. These kinds of issues in a multiplayer game means that it's fundamentally broken.
The game is really inconsistent. I can do really well one game, and really bad the next, against the same players.

One game it's like they're not even shooting and the next game, according to the kill cam, I'm not shooting. That weird delay, that has been in every Treyarch cod game, is still there. You've just got to get lucky.

Yeah those complaints are far and few between. It's an easy game to pickup but hard to master like any Treyarch COD. It's balanced as fuck and play heaps you'll get better.

Maybe someone's netflixing or youtubing in the household.

The disparity between the quality of the SP and MP aspects is kind of unprecedented for COD.

I find myself hating the campaign, but already ranking MP in my top 3 for the franchise.

Which shotgun? I'm curious about the Argus.

It was the pump action one (the first one I think). I did really well with the Argus the first time and then not so good the second time. You're supposed to hard-aim the Argus and you get some really good results out of it. I did a lot better without a sight on it.

I think my favorites right now are the Weevil and HVK-30. I put grips on both and the biometric sight. I found the biometric sight helps when people are peeking from their hiding spots because it lights up when they edge their way out. Other sights can block your view of the person if they are only exposing a little bit.

Yeah, looks like people are learning what the broken shit is. Every Dom lobby is just Haymakers and knifers now. Smh
Haymaker is fine. In fact if anything it needs a buff to close range damage because it currently has no TTK advantage even in close range. If you are losing to the haymaker it's because you are missing so much that you gave the haymaker user enough time to kill you.
