I'd like to know the dude(s) who said with a straight face "you know the guys who make those FPS games that make more money than all other FPS franchises combined? Yeah, fire some of them".

But then again, the project my team works on has been breaking profit records every single year and we're still losing people every single year. It's not the gaming industry that's rotten, it's the whole tech industry and probably all the other industries too, that are completely fucked because of this late stage capitalism bullshit we're plagued with.

Raven is one of the goats...even before becoming a COD studio...so sad to see them end like this...Also we need the MW3 remaster by them. The "modern" modern warfare is garbage and I refuse to play that crap. Raven did great remastering the og MW and MW2.

What bothers me is that he didn't automatically get a chance to go back to PD. Maybe the execs gave the order to fire X people and didn't even think about trying to identify & relocate more skilled developers.

Was Bethesda Game Studios impacted? I hope not. Elder Scrolls VI just now barely entering production under this kind of circumstance. Yikes!
