My manager at gamestop today mentioned he needed someone to do just stock during Christmas. I work at Sharper Image in the mall and Gamestop. Can doing stock really be that hard? It is easy at Sharper Image for the person that does stock there (i'm sales)

stock at gamestop sounds easy. I did stock for Petsmart and let me tell you, lifting 80lb bags of horse feed or many many 40 lb bags of dog food for 8 hours is not easy.

Yeah it's not hard work, but boring as hell...

I can see why mail-carriers go crazy because it's just neverending crap you gotta stock.

Still...maybe you'll get to see some cool stuff once in awhile!

I worked stockroom at a few stores and it is very monotonous. The only way to stand it is to have music blazing and that barely helps. If it's a small stockroom with a couple of people to talk to, it shouldn't be so bad, though. Huge stockrooms with no room for conversation and heavy lifting suck.
