Future Shop is supposed to get in Toon Link, Shiek and Bowser this week, only those ones. So check in on that. They told me yesterday in store that all other Wave 3 Amiibos and Meta Knight are dated as February 28th in their shipping details. Meta Knight WILL NOT be sold in stores or online, all are reserved for pre-orders, the only reason they are getting some to the store is for the in store preorders done through their website for in store pick up.


EB Games got Rosalina yesterday, but if your local store(s) didn't then it could show up today. I am hoping we get an announcement regarding in store preorders for Mega Man and Sonic being available. Their Twitter said end of this week or early next week, so any day now. No word on the fullfilment of the remaining Shulk, Ike and other pre-orders.


Toys R Us had all of Wave 3 and Rosalina in store on Tuesday at my location, so if your location didn't get them in yet then you should check again today. Lucario will be released tomorrow Friday February 6th with stores getting an average of 20 units. My local store confirmed they will be giving out tickets to the line that will form and escort the line to electronics where they will have the Lucarios behind the counter to give out with a 1 per customer limit. Call your local TRU you will be going to tomorrow to make sure they are impleneting these types of systems. Even the TRU Canada Twitter confirmed a 1 per customer limit and such, so do not let them fuck up the launch. Some stores have held back their Wave 3 stock (all of Wave 3 including Rosalina) for this launch. REMEMBER THAT THEY OPEN AT 9:00AM ON FRIDAYS!!!


Wal Mart is supposed to get Wave 3 tomorrow, so no harm in checking today in case they are put on the shelves early. I honestly believe they will only get Toon Link, Shiek and Bowser, just like Future Shop. No details when Rosalina will be popping up on their shelves or website.


I am hoping for EB Games to announce Sonic and Mega Man available for preorder pick up in store today or tomorrow. Then I'm just waiting on Shulk (Gamestop USA) and Meta Knight (Future Shop Canada) to complete my Wave 3 collection.

problem with WM is that they open hella early. if I call in and ask for Shiek availability at 7 and people are there already then I'm boned. no guarantee they have anything on the shelves either. maybe at 7 or lunch time or late at night on Friday :x

Give them a call before they close tonight!

Their shipments usually arrive around close and they do stock overnight. Most Wal Marts close at 11pm or 12am, and some are even 24hrs.

So if you call before close they will know if they will be on the shelves at 7am.

Same store, yup! Now how early to get there is worrying me. If they open at 9, is 8 enough? Should I be there at 7? 6? I mean I'll do whatever, I did it for wave 2 in december, and I've got nothing to do tomorrow morning. But sleep is always nice, so I want as much as I can get.

I will be leaving my house at 7:30am, will get there by 7:45am and will scope out the line. If no one is there I will wait in my car until I see any movement.

My source said they have been getting a dozen or more calls a day.

Byron, man. thanks. I'll do just that. I want Shiek and TL for my brother. He wants Shulk the most but I really screwed up on that :/

So I decided to go for the Amiibo collecting phase on Monday. I never understood the Rosalina obsession until I found out she was rare. It's Thursday and I just acquired one lol.

The online stock checker isn't accurate but the in-store one is. If it says in-store that they have them but the employees says they're not in stock then they're either lying or lazy or blind.

It said futureshop queensway had sonic in stock. I went there. Wasn't on the display. Asked customer service. She checked the computer and she said they didn't have it. She never went to a back room.

Doesn't seem like it got posted here yet, so: The anti-amiibo thread says amiibo are 10% off at Target. You could do worse if you still need a Mario or a Diddy.

I can confirm. I noticed an hour or so ago, don't remember her being there the previous times I was on the site.

Decided for shits and giggles to proceed with checkout and to my shock it let me go through with it. I also got an order confirmation and number.

I held off saying anything because I've yet to see if it will actually ship it not. I'll keep you guys posted if I get a shipping confirmation email.

I don't even remember getting her in the cart. I clicked a bunch of times but nothing ever went through. Checked just now. She was in my cart and I was able to proceed to check out. This should be interesting. Nearly $22 for her though. First time I've paid over retail price.
