I called yesterday to cancel some orders with Cineplex because I didn't realize some of these movies we already own.
The wait wasn't so long and customer service representative was nice and we got it done but she mentioned the billing department is out until January 3 (... seriously?) so I won't see the authorizations drop until after that time. Not ideal but whatever. I'm okay with that.
But all the Processing orders just charged (status now Payment Settled), including the ones I cancelled. Been on hold for 74 minutes and still waiting.
It seems there's nothing anyone can do. This is really dumb. So for 2 weeks, no one is in billing and no cancellations can be processed, however they're still charging and shipping? That is really messed up.
