The deal is over since they reworded the promotion so that you get up to 30% off your pre-order. They probably gave an extra 30% to those who pre-ordered before X period of time to dodge a bullet (false advertising).
Good on them for honoring the price to those who were quick enough to order while they could. That's the difference between amazon and Lenovo. :^p An Xbox one for $280 is a steal of a price at this point in time.

Well, I was going to queue up a ~$275 order for Amazon, but the network here went down, and when WAN access came back up again I see my cart (w/ the same items) is $335.

Guess I'll just have to wait until E3 is done and see which of the sellers gives me the best deal... but I definitely won't be looking at the on-the-fence cases if I'm only looking at saving the tax, effectively.

Thanks! I placed some orders myself but I was speaking of the banner that advised of the 30%. I went crazy as well and just added Evolve, Halo 5 and Dragon Age! I want that 30% lol

So people were getting 69.99 - 15% - 30%.
So they were getting $59.49 - 30% ($41.64) per game.
They "fixed" it though so now it's just list price and 15% off at checkout.
people who got their orders in before Amazon caught their mistake were saving more than at BB/FS.

I only placed one order in the Amazon deal, and I unfortunately didn't get Destiny. Not super stocked about that game, but at 35 bucks during the sale, I shoulda jumped in as the TIV would probably match that near launch.
I'm skeptical about Amazon's shipping, and still have a bunch of games from last years deal, so I don't feel bad about not placing a huge order. Would have picked up an XB1 at 30% off if I could have, though.

Glad I got in 6 games on Amazon before the deal went bust. I'm sorta sad I missed the XB1 deal though. Kinda want one for Halo now.
Yeah, at least I'm going to get Last of Us remastered for a fair price (it's a PS3 game after all, so I see it as paying $20 for the 1080p version + another $20 for the season's pass content).
I cancelled my original Best Buy pre-order and will wait for the selection of game to grow before making another one.
Waiting for Kingdom Heart 2.5 HD ReMix, Metro: Redux and the rest will depend on what's announced (would love a new Metroid or a new Zelda for the Wii U).

Yeah. It seems people were getting the extra 15% or even more. Some of them ordered like 5 $59.99 games and was only charge for $115 total before taxes lol
