Oh damn. I deleted the email in righteous disgust so I can't verify this.

Anyone want to check if it's the case, or if Amazon is too lazy to follow through with their own petty threats? (I assume it's a threat, everything they do seems against human nature at this point in the night.)

It doesn't work so it must be true.

That's the part from the email.

Part of me wants to say "never again", but the realistic part of me knows that'll not be happening. lol

It's 100% because someone finally saw or cared enough about the pricing error. I don't know if Amazon Canada has done that before (or Amazon itself actually gone and cancelled on pricing errors). Plus you can't even get the Premium version on Amazon.ca, you can only get the Collector's version

Edit: I placed that order the second I could so it's not an issue of them fulfilling someone elses order and not having enough for me. This is basically them taking it away. Would love to see if someone that ordered the premium version at full price still has their order.

I just fired them off an email sprinkled with some feigned indignation. I'm not really surprised they weaseled their way out of the LE, but this code not working, that's some bush league stuff.
 
Amazon just sent me my cancellation email for the order back when that $150 was pricing error'd at 20 bucks lol. So close. So close. "supply issues".

I want there to be random amiibo late night pop up shops at like 3-4AM in the morning in the middle of Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal just to see how many people would show up for those. Oh and there'd be a 2-3 hour early notice before they go up.

It's the next stage to amiibo madness

I never complained, I aksed why it was cancelled and eventually mentioned how the coupon was not working and he gave me the collector's for my old price.

Me too. I just basically told the guy the situation and he had my back.

I take back all that "greatest injustice in the history of mankind" stuff Amazon, although you should seriously get your coupons working before sending them out.
 
Went to toys R Us like an hour ago and apparently they got their wave shipment in this morning. I asked if they had anything left and they said they only have bowser. :l

Haha, that's awesome.

I've had varying luck with discounts through Amazon. I won't bother them on the Order, though - my favourite customer service experience with them was the $90 apology they discounted from my white PS4 order because Destiny had French packaging.

Damn, I guess no Order for me. At $15 I was willing to take a chance that it wasn't all polish with no substance. I probably wouldn't pay over $20 even if it reviews well.

I'll borrow a copy from the library, I guess.

According to everyone on GAF every retail outlet has the worst customer service.

Target and FS are by far the worst in my opinion. I don't mind other stores.

Target: They'll ignore you at the electronics cash register and take people ahead of you. Or, at least, that's my experience. One CSR also cut my mother off when she was walking carefully after surgery, and almost knocked her down, just to get to the register to talk to her friend.

Future Shop: The CSRs at customer service often seem pissed off, their methods for trades are terribly slow and outdated and most of the time I went in there with trades, nobody would come up and talk to me in the gaming section. They just ignore you.

I was also followed out of the store once and shadowed like a thief, after buying something in the home theatre section. The guy asked for me to be stopped.

No luck on my end tonight, going to try again tomorrow

Edit: so my haggling skills are not up to par. The most they would offer me is a $20 credit. Real load of shit as I already have the collectors edition in an order at a lower price. I even did the "no thanks" and still nothing.

I'm assuming they already have the page up. And the tweet on twitter will just point the way to the page. Hopefully it all goes over without a hitch. Would suck to stay up this late and have it be for no reason at all.
