I just got off the phone with Sony myself. Explained the situation, gave my order number, the CSR checked the facts and seemed bewildered, so he put me on hold while he talked to a 'specialist in this situation'. After a couple minutes, he returned to tell me that I'd be receiving a 10 dollar credit in my account within the next 5-10 minutes.
For reference's sake, my PSN ID is the same as my GAF username, I bought Bloodborne yesterday at 1 PM EST, and I've played it since (I saw that mentioned above as a reason the refund couldn't be processed).

Thanks. I'm currently on hold with customer service. I pre ordered back in September, so hopefully they will be able to refund me too.
Yeah it's not acceptable for the agent to tell you no but I have no doubt they will refund you the 10 bucks for it.

I guess the digital preorder is some sort of premium service where you pay more to play sooner. I really don't see any reason to play before I can actually download a game. It's not like the bank will freeze my account or something.
There's always something on sales on PSN and there is no price protection.
Does Amazon refunds you if the price drop after your order ships?
Not automatically. You have to contact them.

The only time I bother is when they cancel part of my order and that voids the free shipping. Purely on principle.

So no refund from CS. Now I'm on hold for a supervisor. Since I pre ordered in September they can't give me a credit of the difference...

Did anyone get the preorder bonus from Best Buy for Bloodborne? I have yet to receive anything or any news.
I know Futureshop said on twitter they are sending emails out today but I'm not sure what BestBuy's plans are.

I've been having the same stupid problem with Sony refusing to accept my credit card even though (as far as I can tell) the address is correct and laid out how it should be. Nowhere else do I have an issue, and years ago I'm pretty sure it did work for purchases I made on the PS3.
I end up having to dump funds on there via Paypal. I'm actually okay with that as I think it results in them getting less money in the end after fees are accounted for.

So apparently Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster for PS4 is going to be the same price as US, for a change... The only problem is the US price is too high as is.
You know, if it has been that price about a week ago I would have bought it but I borrowed it from the library and will buy it when it's $20

I'd just wait for a price drop, it should hit $30 within 3 months. No point in buying day one especially if you already bought the PS3/Vita versions, unless you absolutely must play this day 1.

Well, the console + TLOU is a bundle. I think it was the first bundle, but it's still the one that sells the most.
Amazon.ca has been giving away Playstation TVs with every PS4 purchase.

Yeah, it's silly that you can get the PS3/Vita versions for $20 each or $40 together on amazon right now and it's still less expensive than the PS4 version alone. It's just refreshing to see it's not more expensive than the US price, not that that really helps in this case.
Just checked walmart.ca and the flyer that goes live tomorrow (26 March) has the $400 TLOU PS4 bundle, so if anyone wants to get it a day early (those system updates and patch installs take time!) before the weekend should consider it.
