I generally dislike eBay. I gave up and bought a copy from the second print run.

Incidentally, someone in my local area is trying to sell his Switch with MK8, Zelda, and Binding of Isaac for $700 (!!) on Kijiji. His copy of Isaac has the manual and most of the stickers with it. I offered him $50 for the game, or $20 for just the manual and stickers, and he said no.

I just searched eBay. There are several Chinese sellers, so just look for the cheapest option.
(Don't buy from the Americans who are selling bad looking stickers with hand written labels lol)

I ordered the Zelda set from China about four weeks ago and they still haven't arrived.
Apparently packages from China are being help up for months because of Fentanyl coming from there at a high volume.

I'm thinking of getting a refund and just making my own but can't find any NTAG215 in Toronto.

That sounds like trouble. Someone posted about them being available on BestBuy yesterday and I snagged a preorder. I guess if it gets cancelled I at least get $25 hopefully.

Related, it's a real pain trying to find a Switch in stores here (in SK). I saw them before in Walmart so I didn't think I'd have any troubles but I must've just gotten lucky to spot them before. I've checked with 7 different stores now with no luck.

I got my copy of FFXII from Amazon.ca that I ordered during the E3 promo, but checking my statement I think they overcharged me, but it's been so long I don't remember what the promo price was supposed to be.

Does anyone know offhand what it should of worked out to?

$55.99 plus your province's taxes is the Prime price, though some have had it (I think specifically the steelbook version) glitched to other prices.

Splatoon 2 is out next week, I'd be surprised if stores don't get a restock with it.

It should be the same as with Prime if you got it during E3, so in Ontario tax it'd come out to $63.27 I believe. It originally went up as $69.99 back in the day and so the 20% was for that and not its lower $64.99 price with E3 discount/Prime. But yeah, it should come out to $63.27, or the equivalent in your province!

Best to contact them, though, if the price is wrong!

Not sure if this can grow on me, screen is a bit low res, the device doesn’t feel very comfortable, and I’ve been going around in Zelda for two hours and it doesn’t really grab me.
And the A/B X/Y buttons being inverted to Xbox/PlayStation is so fucking annoying.

Really? I've seen Switches all over fairly consistently, I would recommend to try Toys r Us and shoppers both seem to have them whenever I go in there.

The price I had on my invoice before the discount was 64.96 so the discount should have been 12.99 (before taxes) but is instead 8.97 (before taxes). Going to have to contact Amazon about that...again...

Can I buy the BotW expansion pass from Amazon.com and use it like any other game code? We should, right, since we're both NA region?

I have $10 credit there, and with the conversion rate, it works out to be cheaper, which is why I'm thinking of buying from there.

If you haven't yet, yes you can. I got my BotW expansion pass from .com, when I needed to do a purchase there a few months ago to take advantage of a FFXIV promo, lol

From what I've seen, there is hella fanservice (not Senran Kagura levels or anything like that, but way more than you'd expect for something that otherwise looks like Sailor Moon). Dunno if it's yuri, though. It also seems like it might be rather mediocre, which is a shame because I like Atelier games a lot and wish Gust would get its groove back one day (preferably without gratuitous panty shots).

Thanks! Buying it now. Was planning to wait for the second DLC to start a new playthrough, but from the sounds of it, the 2nd DLC takes place after the main game. Can't wait to jump into hard mode! I have a feeling monster health regeneration is gonna be a headache for me, though, lol.

just checked my credit card transactions and amazon credited me back $16.95, I'm guessing for FFXII Steelbook, so I ended up spending like $15 total for it lol.

still not as good as the peeps that got it free and also the credit, don't know how you guys managed that one

I mean I’ll probably keep it because I’m sure there will be at least 2-3 games in the future that will interest me, but I’m kinda bummed out by the quality of the screen. Resolution is a tad low and colours are kinda washed out. I can just play it docked like a regular console but that means I need the fucking $100 Pro controller.

Honestly, the Pro Controller is so good it's worth it in my opinion.


Also, anyone else hate when your buy-in price for a game is $5 less than what Amazon is selling it for? Cmon... drop those last few dollars!!!
(Dishonored 1/2, Darksiders 1/2, Wolfenstein TNO/OB)

Speaking of, why the heck is GOTY Witcher 3 still so expensive? It better drop for BF/CM/Boxing Day. I haven't played any of the Witcher 3 and I've been waiting far too long for this one lol.
