BTW, only reason why GHG went down in Canada is because we went into recession. So Harper may want to be cautious when taking credit for that.

Man, I'm getting so tired of Justin talking about spending on infrastructure.
It's like he has Tourette syndrome.

Btw, did you know Muclair was Minister of the Environment. In Quebec. Like, an actual Minister in Quebec. Of the Environment. Also, TOMMY DOUGLAS!

his stint as Environment Minister wasnt even a full term, he got into several spats with his then boss (Premier Charest) then quit angrily

If TPP gets signed this week, I'm really curious of what -- if any -- impact it'll have on the election, especially if the dairy farmers and the auto industry get thrown under the bus.

According to that munk poll Mulcair is more interesting to listen to then Trudeau and Harper. This is really interesting.

It would have to completely shift the debate in the tail end, and this might end up being to Harper's benefit since his team is the only one that knows what the final deal would be ahead of time.

Slight drop in the conservatives poll numbers if they hate it. Big drop if they despise it.

Well, atleast for the Auto Industry, they already don't go Conservative, so its all down to how numerous the Dairy farmers are, and where they are.

I don't know -- places like Oshawa and Windsor-Essex are auto ridings, and they're both Conservative at the moment.

Dairy is huge in Quebec, so it has the potential to counter whatever gains the CPC gets from the niqab issue, I'd think.

Well Mulcair is Smokey the Bear after all.

"Only who can prevent Stephen Harper? You have selected 'you', referring to me. That is incorrect. The correct answer is you."

What's wrong with selling water to the U.S.?

The biggest problem is that the FTA/NAFTA left the door open for bulk water sales nationwide if any province agreed to sell water to the US.

It's not really desirable since it affects the local ecosystem of whatever lakes/rivers they attempt to drain. There are also cases we've seen where bottled water exports take water from Canada during droughts with little regard for the water situation locally.

Bob Rae, just now on Twitter, responding to Mulcair's snide little jibe:

I didn't always agree with Pierre Trudeau but he was a great man. I can't say the same about Tom Mulcair #cdnpoli

EDIT: Beaten by Silexx!

I have to say, though, that Mulcair really gives Harper a run for his money when it comes to pettiness. (Though seeing as Mulcair is the only one of the three who's ever had to pay out damages for defamation, he may even have Harper lapped.)

That was more civil than the first english debate. Less raving lunatics.
I doubt anything said tonight is going to change much.

Mulcair really wants to form a strong, stable majority government on October 19th. I wonder what he is drinking.
