Nobody ruins my family vacation but me...and maybe the boy!
I'm really confused by this speech, he started off good and then went on to... campaign?

Also, looks like Harper has stepped down as party leader. Thank God, though I wonder what disaster the Conservatives will choose next.

Wow! Canada’s longest election in modern history is now over, and I’m very much looking forward to working with Mr. Trudeau and his new federal government to make Calgary better for all our citizens.

The Liberal Party had a strong platform as relates to cities and we look forward to working with them on building transit, creating a better national housing strategy, and building infrastructure. During the campaign, the Liberals promised to fund the Green Line and significant flood mitigation. We look forward to getting shovels in the ground on these and other essential infrastructure projects.

Thank you to the hundreds of candidates—of all parties—who had the courage and conviction to put themselves out there to run for office. Win or lose, you’ve proven you care about the future of this country and put yourself out there to represent your fellow citizens.

Thank you to the thousands of volunteers to gave their much of themselves to support those candidates and our electoral process. Elections of one of our largest volunteer endeavours in this country and your passion to make Canada better is an inspiration.

And thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who voted today and in the advance polls. The future of our country is a result of your action today.

And, of course, congratulations to all the new Members of Parliament from all parties who will now represent us all in Ottawa. An election campaign is tough, but the real work is about to begin as you represent the hopes and dreams of all Canadians.

Eh, I actually liked Mulcair's speech. Made me feel feels though.Just hearing that defeated tone brought a tear to my eye, no lie.

Did people not? I thought it was a fantastic and gracious concession speech, and hit on all the things that make me prefer the NDP over the Liberals.

Fuck the Liberals destroyed this election! I know so many people that didn't even classify themselves as Liberal or like Trudeau that much, they just really wanted Harper out.

Who is even left? I assume the Caucus would elect one like they did when the Liberals picked Rae to lead during the search for Trudeau.

Normally they pick a senior statesman-type leader, but I don't know if they even have any of those. Blaney, maybe?
