Most interesting remaining ridings:

Edmonton Centre: Liberals leading by 258 votes with 130 of 207 polls reporting.
Calgary-Skyview: Liberals leading by 1,500 votes with 75 of 183 polls reporting.

On those seats hang Liberal representation in Alberta.

Desnethe-Missinippi-Churchill River: Ping-ponging back and forth between the Liberals and Tories, this would be their unexpected second seat in Saskatchewan if they hold onto it.

Jody Wilson-Raybould declared elected in Vancouver-Granville; a Cabinet post awaits her.

If you want to guess at what final turnout will be, btw, divide the current turnout by the number of polls reporting. So right now it's 51.19%/80.19% = ~63%.

It won't be exactly that, but that'll be the ballpark.

Not that it matters though.

Eh. You continue to be incredibly fatalistic even in the face of a massive change.

Yeah, but frankly you not liking it means about as much as gutter not liking it. Not that you're as unreasonable as him, but you've openly admitted to just not liking Mulcair on a gut level.

Stop shitting on my team. Start shitting on my finger.
Wouldn't even admit he was resigning in his speech. Too proud or ego?

At least he is done as PM. Good riddance.

CBC speculated he didn't even prepare a concession speech which is why it was so bad and sounded more like he was praising his work :lol

Seriously? No matter how well your party is doing you should always have a concession speech prepared. Fuck Harper.

Apparently Harper felt he was above having a concession speech.
I'm sure he would have bowed out of giving one entirely if he had the option.

Did people not? I thought it was a fantastic and gracious concession speech, and hit on all the things that make me prefer the NDP over the Liberals.

Just a page back everyone here was making fun of the smile and hoping for a new leader. I never understood the Mulcair hate, and I never understood the idea that he had no personality/charisma. He seemed like a more tame yet methodical version of Trudeau IMO, he inspired ideas of hope and Canada's future but not as enthusiastically as Trudeau of course.
