Shes 31, she's got a lot of time to be in office. Maybe not this time, but the next time the NDP needs a leader she would be amazing.

I personally also like Niki Ashton, but shes way more of a long shot, even though shes been in government longer.

I just think we need more women as leaders.

His accent is horrible and sounds so fake. The worst part is that he makes a lot of grammatical errors lol

Imagine a political candidate making basic mistakes in english. He wouldn't stand a chance.

True, plus bringing back 5-year terms would allow Trudeau to say he's returning it to what it was in the Constitution.

Most of the progressives in this country that elected him the first time around abandoned him this time around because of his accursed "conservative values" of intolerance, fear, evasiveness and hate. That and all of the institutions he destroyed... no matter what revisionist bullshit he's spewing right now.

I hope they bring it next time. Conservative values are what killed them. Terrible economy, huge cuts to services, ignoring the environment, destroying sciences and bigoted racism that wants to keep the country back in the 50's. These values are not real values most of Canada wants.

There are plenty of Albertans who wanted change, but as soon as it was obvious the NDP were not going to be the option they ended up voting Conservative again. *groan* My vote always ends up being meaningless.

I'll say it again. The Liberals are not an option in Alberta. They never have voted Liberal and they never will. So once again it doesn't matter how the west votes because eastern Canada always decides who is going to run this country. It's another Trudeau dividing this country. It's the 80's all over again.

It wouldn't surprise me if western separatists rise again.
