After all that talk of this being Avengers 2.5 its obvious that this is very much a Cap movie. It looks great although it seems they're holding a lot back. I'm glad its fairly different from the comic because a lot of that was'nt great. It would be cool to get that punisher scene though. #Team Cap all the way. Can't wait to see Spidey although I hope they save him for the film.
Replace those dudes he's fighting with Avengers and do this fucking scene. Frame for frame word for word. Would be the hypest shit

So glad Whedon isn't directing this. Don't want another generic ass Avengers movie where they fight off hordes of CG enemies.
If that Sokovia Accord for sending super powered individuals into the field is some new rule to abide to, Cap will ignore it just to save his friend. Bucky will be on the move because as the Winter Soldier he commited countless crimes including the murder of Howard and Maria Stark and we don't how he will be contained. They could ship him out to some max security prison like the Abomination. And with Civil War spoiler!

I understand both though. Cap because Bucky is his best friend, a connection to his past and he believes that Bucky should get a fair shake at explaining his actions. As for Tony... I see some peeps asking if he and Steve are actually friends. Of course they are. Maybe not best friends, but they have a mutual respect for each other. I think Tony is just baffled by the fact that Steve is only considering Bucky's side. Tony mentioned in other movies how much his father respected Cap and that he spent years searching for him after the war ended. And to think his parents died at the hands of Bucky, he considers it an insult to his fathers work and respect towards Steve.

Russos Cap is pretty OP. This is the guy who sends enemies flying with a single kick, can tank massive falls without injuries, take the brunt of a grenade blast and then survive crashing through a bus as the bus crashes

Considering you're teaming up with the guy who killed his parents (albeit being brainwashed to do so) and you fucked over his friend as well, the trailer is already painting Tony as the underdog here.
Still, that exchange of dialogue during the ending.

It has to be, if you truly want to show how much of a galactic threat thanos is you need to show how insignificant all the pervious threats were and the best way to do that is to have everyone come together to face him.
The Russos are gonna create something magical I'm sure, I'm just not sure the world is ready for how potentially amazing infinity wars is going to be.

Its good to see Black Panther in action! I'm sad that this will be Captain America's last standalone film but I'm still super excited to watch it.

I don't like the colors in this movie, too "srs bsness" tv series for me. In fact I don't even think that the Russo are very good, they just made a movie out of the best Captain America story.

I'd say an important point to take away from this is that Infinity War won't be a straight lift from Starlin's Gauntlet / War. There were some press pieces that came out in the past few months where it was mentioned about lifting plot elements and themes from stuff going back from the past 20 years, up to the Hickman Avengers. I'll see if I can find a link to that at some point.
I'm assuming this is going to be the first and only trailer for this movie because they already showed everything. I'm mean, the only thing they didn't show was Thanos. I feel like I've been the target of a spoiler machine gun. Already had to be careful about spoilerish trailers #2, but I guess I need to be careful about trailers #1 as well now.

I woke up this morning to find this online, watched it while I ate my cereal. Then, jaw agape, I watched it again. And Again. I got to work late this morning because of this trailer!!!!!
It looks fantastic. I mean genuinely awesome. That final wide view steady shot of the Cap and Bucky pummeling Tony, wooaaahhhhhh. After that trailer I'm almost more excited for Cap3 than I am for SW7.

Nahh...Marvel/Disney has been great at handling trailers. The Winter Soldier teaser trailer (or trailer 1 in the US) showed more than this.

I think it will somewhat still be about that just that most of the casuals who watch the MCU movies really don't know civil wars story line so I am assuming they made this about bucky too because of that reason since they are following what happens after winter soldier. Maybe the trailer doesn't explain all the reasons why just the main reason since it's familiar to the fans.
