Raised 4WD trucks, bonus if they are wearing a cowboy hat. As someone who grew up on an actual farm I just find it obnoxious.

Second place goes to motorcycle drivers who zip in and out traffic from one lane to another between two cars diagonally with barely any room.

Also, people that ride Harley's. They always have yo revv them and they're beyond loud. It's impossible to have a conversation with somebody while they're next to you.

As a Harley owner I have to step in and say "Fuck those guys." I hate them even more than you do because their shitty, self-centered attitude makes me look bad and I'm always a little ashamed to admit I have one.

I'm still on stock pipes because I am not a douchebag.

BMW has been shown again and again to be the car of the douchebag driver, though that's being challenged by Audi.

Not to say that all who drive those are douchey, but many who are douchey drive those cars.

Camero drivers: The thread. I have never known anyone who drove a Camero who was not a piece of shit, or seen someone driving a Camero who didn't like a complete asshole. I'm sure there's a few of them out there who are okay, but it seems to be an otherwise universal constant.

Edit:
- Anyone blasting music.
- People who don't signal.
- People who speed up to prevent you from changing lanes because they saw you signal.
- People on Cell Phones.
- People who don't pay attention at lights and need to be honked at to move.
- Women putting on their makeup while driving.
- People who use the shoulder to get into a turn lane and block in the people who wait to get past the shoulder.
- People who treat Yield as Stop.
- People who don't understand that you accelerate on an on-ramp, not stop and wait for a gap.

I'll come back, near New Jersey here so there's a lot of ground to cover.

Any non-business pickup truck. I give them a pass as they're generally being driven for work purposes, hauling lumber, tools, etc, and their drivers generally aren't too bad.

People who drive trucks for pleasure in the city, though...jesus. Not only do they barely seem aware of how much space their vehicle takes up on the road, they drive more aggressively than SUV drivers and tailgate like motherfuckers. God help you if you're a pedestrian near one of those.

Bonus points if they're jacked up and have oversize offroad tires that will likely never see actual dirt. Those ones are guaranteed to have an asshat behind the wheel.

Does this picture make you angry ? Think of the pedestrians and that metal bumper.
It was hauled on a trailer for races when it was still in active racing
It is actually quite lower in this picture than it is nowadays, though it is mostly used for snowplowing in winter now.

Since there's already a bunch of BMW replies, I'll say BMW convertible. Trucks because so many of them don't signal. Any car with obnoxiously loud music.

Anyone with a personalized license plate. I don't know why, but every time I see one, it just makes me think they're snobbish.

I actually worked in the same building as this cringe-worthy shit right here:

has there been a study on people like these? I cannot understand why people spend in 5 figures (where I live) to get a number plate with a 3 digit palindromic number. Are these people really that crazy?

Jesus, what? Vanity plates in the US are like a couple hundred dollars, if that.

In my country, mostly businesses use custom made plates, or oligarchs.

So what exactly makes BMW owners worse than the other people/cars? Speeding? I'm curious

A sense of privilege on the road and bending rules. Also a surplus of power means they're more likely to pass in riskier situations. Case in point: A study showed that drivers of upscale cars like BMWs and Audis are more likely to go at a 4-way stop when they don't have the right of way. It's just a mindset that gets into people's heads when driving a nice car: they think they carry the right of way more often because their car is nicer than others on the road.

I used to have a yellow Porsche 911 and yeah, I totally thought the rules of the road were made to be broken while driving it. I wouldn't cut people off or anything but speeding, pushing it on curves, swerving on the highway? All the time.

I've been saying this to my wife for a while now, but PEOPLE WITH HATS are drivers to avoid. They're either too old to drive or they're punk ass dick wads zooming in and out of lanes.

My wife, after months and months of doubt and speculation, has seen me point this out over and over and is now fully on board with this observation.

Anyone driving a car I can only imagine is completely incompetent and probably going to trigger a grisly accident any moment now.

People in big SUVs or trucks going super slow on dirt roads up/down areas that lead to hiking trails.

Also, any car with the spinning rims. Fortunately that fad is mostly over.

Years ago I wasn't a fan of people who put the super wide tires on everything.

Get off my road! Get off my road now! Grrrr!

I drive a Micra :-/. Not that model though. It's really well equiped for it's cheap price, has great mileage and it's easy and peppy enough to drive around in the city. Especially Brussels which is a nightmare to park and I suspect that the rules are just considered guidelines over there. I usually get to avoid collisions 2-3 times on my way through Brussels because people just do what ever they fucking want.

It's not my car though. It's the second family car. I'm also far from the average person that would drive a car like that lol.

I asked friends on facebook what the first word was that popped into their head when they saw the car/plate.

Play the game!

Man there is a lot of hate for people who drive pick up trucks, particularly lifted ones..

I have a lifted toyota tundra 4x4 and I live in the city, where I am we have winter 8 months out of the year and the streets in residential areas dont see any plowing so the ruts and grooves can get quite deep. My wife's car pretty much bottoms out and drags the under carriage across the snow all the time.
I also frequently go to the Canadian Rockies in the winter or summer for recreational purposes and the additional clearance has defiantly gained me access to places I other wise wouldn't be able to go.
Well that's my defense against what I drive, now on to what I hate:
1. Any male driver wearing white sunglasses. White sunglasses pretty much screams douche bag to me.
2. Old guys and their sports cars, most of them drive way to fast for their own good.
3. Straight pipes on any motorized vehicle, loud and abnoxious and serves absolutely no purpose.

Eh, it's just GAF being GAF. This might as well be called "Sweeping Generalizations - The Thread." Minivans get hate because there's so many of them on the road, so chances are more than a few idiots drive them.

What are you considering a "Rap car"? I think mine is in that category even though I owned it before it started to show up in videos.

I can cut pickups a little slack if it's a Ranger or maaybe an F-150 (which are 50% of the vehicles on the road here in KC where F-150's are made). I mean, it is kind of handy to be able to haul stuff around on occasion.

But these huge F-250s and F-350s trawling around the suburbs for no damned reason are too much.

Unless you work construction or it's a farm truck, why do you need this? To display your Romney/Ryan sticker collection? To pay $70 per tank of gas? Most of them have a bed liner in mint condition because nothing has ever been carried back there.

I drive an F-150.

Biggest mistake ever. Fucking gas hog. I'm a tall guy and it's nice to have the room, but shit, I can't wait to pay it off so I can trade it in for something more fuel efficient.

Prius drivers...

They're super aggressive. They're either driving excessively fast or excessively slow and if you pass them, they revert back to driving dangerously fast out of anger.

$20 says a normal Tundra would have no more issues than a lifted one with what you're doing, unless you're rock-climbing or something.

Remember, Top Gear USA bought three trucks for a few thousand each, sight unseen, and drove across Alaska using nothing more than a poorly maintained service road and open wilderness.

Fucking Audi drivers. Especially those black Audi A4 company cars, whose drivers think they're the king of the Autobahn.
