Nickelodeon let them have that? I'm legitimately surprised since it's Dreamworks/Paramount and Paramount is Nick's sister.

Networks sell shows to each other all the time. Nick will more than likely be the first network to run it in syndication.

They really weren't that angsty...and when they did angst it was handled a lot better than YJ. All Connor ever does is throw things around and grunt and blankly stare at Superman every episode.

so far the only really out of line angst episode was the traitor one. as for connor, the other characters masked his angst pretty well, and he eventually moved on. beast boys thirstyness switching between raven and terra got annoying, cyborgs need to prove himself to robin actually became a damn subplot. and ravens issues... well i dont really want to think about how much i disliked raven. combine that with the random ass chibi moments, and i stopped really caring. the only moments i really liked are when beast boy went nuts on deathstroke, and wallys appearance.

You know. From what I've seen of the new Looney Tunes, minus a few glaring errors (making Daffy the dumbo, for one), it's really good.

The animation is really good, too.

I love how Superman is basically a deadbeat dad.

To be fair, Superman was violated. And in comics he had rare contact with Connor.
Basically telling him not to fuckup his name.

Launch date is set. While we knew march third was the return of some shows we werent sure if The block would be launched among with it.

Cartoon Network, Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment are teaming up to present DC Nation, a full hour of exclusive kids’ television programming and shorts based on DC Comics characters. Full of action and humor, DC Nation brings some of the most beloved and legendary heroes — as well as some lesser-known cult favorites — from the pages of DC Comics to the screens of a whole new generation of fans. Anchored by Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice, DC Nation will premiere Saturday, March 3, at 10 a.m. (ET, PT).

Green Lantern: The Animated Series debuted in November 2011 on Cartoon Network as a special one-hour movie event and was greeted with much critical acclaim: Variety lauded the “beautifully rendered” series for its “bold, sleek design.” Now fans can experience the series again from the very beginning. With stunning, stylized CG animation, Green Lantern: The Animated Series takes viewers on a journey of cosmic proportions as Hal Jordan and his band of heroes fight to save the universe.

The second half hour of DC Nation will be comprised of new episodes of Young Justice, a series which Entertainment Weekly called a “super-ior cartoon” with “a good dose of super-hero action.” The series continues with more adventures for Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis as they continue to try to prove themselves as superheroes while dealing with all the pitfalls of being teenagers.

Rounding out this branded block of original programming will be a number of shorts featuring DC Comics super heroes and characters as you have never seen them before. With fresh designs and concepts, fan favorites such as Plastic Man and Doom Patrol will finally take center stage next to the likes of Wonder Woman and Teen Titans. Bringing them to life will be the result of a collaboration with some of the top talents in the animation industry, which include award-winning Aardman Studios (Arthur Christmas, Wallace and Gromit) with its stop-motion clay animation techniques, and the unique direction and character designs of Lauren Faust (The Powerpuff Girls, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic). In addition to these shorts, DC Nation will also feature event programming, interstitials, exclusive behind-the-scenes looks at theatrical motion pictures and an insider look into the world of all things DC Comics.

On a side note I wish Toonami was back. Some of these shows like the DC stuff would be perfect to air on a Toonami reboot! It'll never happen though. :(

Why cant they come up with something new and actually mature for once?
Something on the level of Batman:TaS , but a fresh franchise
so, so stale

screw cartoon network for killing off Sym Bionic Titan

if you dont know who lauren faust is shame on you.

Meh was hoping the DC block meant an extension of DC animated beside the animated DC series going on right now. A new Justice League (International) and Batman series or even a new Superman series.

I'm still hoping that for some strange reason Gotham High shows up as a short some day. I know there was a ton of hate but it looked like so much fun. At least we're heading in the right direction for more super hero content.

There will be a new batman series. And now that i think about it, The DC block is a perfect opportunity for DC/CN to show the WB animation studios comic Movies.

I could see gotham High doing a lot better as shorts.

I'm hoping for a newly announced Superman series in time with Man of Steel on the big screen.

This will happen.

They fucked up by bringing back Teen Titans instead of doing a Tiny Titans series of shorts. Tiny Titans is sooo superior.
