Oh no, they do not make them work for free in chains and they even agreed not to base the bonus on review scores which they knew were going down the drain. They are saints I tell you

. What is next? Allowing them to have lunch breaks and sick days?! They almost spoil them yes.
Another obtuse comment from you.
Even Jason, bless him, admits developers were
voluntarily crunching - and being paid for it - for a while, before mandatory crunch kicked in. Thank goodness those developers require neither your approval nor your permission to run their professional lives as they see fit, and that most definitely includes choosing to do paid overtime to improve the game. Mandatory crunch was instated for the grand total of 6 extra paid days.
Modern slavery, I tell you.
The bottom line is this: If developers hate it there, they can always resign. If they have tried to talk with management and everything failed, surely they can type a resignation letter and move on with their professional lives, to a company whose work environment they are more at ease with, no?
Who would want a vexed developer showing up day in day out?
I have read reports CD Projekt RED pays top salaries, within the Polish context. But I'll stand corrected. Here is some of what they also offer (
source):
"
- Private health care (Enel Med, Medicover or Lux Med).
- 24/7 gym for CDPR employees with personal trainer on-site.
- 2 canteens, 5 fully equipped kitchens, fit vending machines and various foodtrucks.
- Fresh fruit twice a week for everyone in the office, a wide choice of tea, fancy coffee machines and 7 types of milk

- Free library with wide range of games and books.
- Many social activities and parties.
- From 20 to to 26 days of paid vacation per year.
- A step by step assistance and 'Relocation Package' for foreigners willing to establish in Poland.
- Polish lessons for foreign employees.
"
Yup, sounds terrible to me.
Tell you what, the workers should pay CDPR for the privilege of having this game on their resume

.
Corporate apology continues... (there is
now evidence of mismanagement... as if there was not before and we are not now seeing CDPR being caught hands in the cookie jar after lying multiple times [omission counts too] about the state of a product they were selling preorders too).
The utter buffoonery of your response cannot be overstated.
The evidence of mismanagement is deduced by contrasting the process - 3 delays, mandatory crunch - with the result - a game that's not ready for a multiplat world premier. Without the latter, all you had were at best conjectures and suspicions. I keep forgetting - but you keep reminding me -your standards for what constitutes evidence are so low that a gutter looks like a pedestal.
