To get the state to pay for some facility and stadium upgrades, they built classrooms and administrative offices around the stadium to build it up. Smart for sure. But that loophole is now closed for other schools.

University Center Club. Huge ball rooms + the Hospitality school. When it was built, Doak Cambell Stadium was the second biggest brick structure in the world. The first is the Great Wall of China.
