Very disappointing indeed. Why couldn't they have cast an actor with some sort of Martial arts background like Jai White?
Because you can learn that stuff? His movie isn't out for three years.
Also there are such things as stuntmen.
Because Michael Jai White can't act and not having a martial arts background (if that's even true) doesn't stop someone from being able to produce great-looking fight scenes.
Damn that was a good movie. I can't believe I cpuld have forgotten he was the lead in that movie. Holy shit.
They will have hired someone with martial arts background....his stunt double.
Hype as fuck but we really need some Namor now to get the best rivalry in comics history on the big screen.

MIchael Jai White seems like a cool guy but I don't think he has the chops to carry this sort of movie. He seems more suited to a Bautista/Drax type of role.

Looked at some pics of him, he has a decent frame and looks like he will be fine mass wise as long as he hits the gym hard.

You can teach an actor to fight, but rarely can you teach fighter to act. No knock against White, but I don't think he has the chops for T'challa.

Most of that stuff was wire fu, and CG dude. Not a exactly a good example.Have you seen Man of Tai Chi? Keanu Reeves's fight scenes were terrible.
Besides, I'm not asking for fighter to be turned into an actor, I'm asking for an actor who already has some years of experience in martial arts.
Jai White lost the role after we all saw Spawn.
