Seems the next tower event starts the 29th for jpCC. Better get your warriors ready, the featured character (as in, the prize) is the Maze Pass leader and seems to be a warrior. Event characters might be mostly warriors too!
Also, casino is still on-going! I'd try to get Wayne's lance, but there is no way. Sins' casino is v2 hard.

Basically instead of using AP, you need to use casino coins, which you get 10 of every day and there are two repeatable quests that drops nothing but coins.
The goal of each stage is to clear it as fast as possible. Depending on how fast you were, you'll get ranked gold, sliver or bronze and you'll get to spin a wheel to see what prize you get.
As you imagine, the higher the rank, the better the prizes are with the higher leveled stages having fortune ring characters, A ranked weapons, enhancers, etc. There are also stamina fruits, fortune rings, etc. The really nice prizes are limited, so you can usually only get them once.
Some of the higher level quests also have an additional requirement, like your party cost can only be 40 or less or you can only use an archer team.
It's interesting but I haven't really done much of it since my team isn't up to par to try the harder leveled ones.
Sounds very fun though. With AP, you are quite limited as to what you can do in this game. I guess Global is far off from getting that.

Yeah in spite of it's faults, the gauntlet is a step in the right direction in terms of having stuff to do once AP is exhausted.

Tried the new quests in JPCC, kinda cool.
The gimmick is that there are enemies that can summon up stones to block your units from moving around and there are miner enemies that can destroy mana.
Didn't really try too much of the stages, but the rewards are nice especially the mission related ones.

I am starting to get the hang of it, but the gauntlet does reinforce my belief that I just suck ass in the game.
Search for chain chronicle Dummy group. Make sure you invite 50+ members as they mostly accept. Then invite 50 friends in one go later when you have them.

Don't forget that a strong Selene will only matter when you've reached the harder waves so you still have plenty of time + demon coin fodder.
Got my Selene almost to 60 already (somehow?! in two weeks became my highest level character- been playing for like 3 months). Bueno.
Actually, I think the raid will be a week later. The event date is listed May 25th - June 8th, which is two weeks.
Also, Juliana will be coming back to the event gacha. But the sword is different. Liberation won't be of any use in this raid.

Next weeks event sounds kinda lame though. I'll be grinding dailies, it's not like those forge weapons will be of any use in the demon raid.
Whoever thought of that crafting event was drunk. Why would I craft A-rank weapons for a demon raid anyway?
Just got all 4 chests on the first try. Gold chest is a 4* Enhancer. Free Selene lvl up!

Milking the hell out of this event though. With the volunteer sword and the enhancers that drop I'm getting good xp.
Demon raids are usually 2 week long in jpCC. It might be related to the event fes character (remember we are getting one this time around), but usually you have a week with free quests to level units and the last week is the raid per se.
Weren't quests like this just before Coro? I started back then so I don't really know.

I've only looked at the in-game news but it seems like they've only announced some "pre-demon raid" events. One is a new festival with Juliana while the other is a limited quest to get the special spear.
The actual demon raid is still unannounced.
Back to crappy xp quests. Need to milk this weeks as much as I can. At least there'll be a good chance of getting Selene at least to 70 with all those enhancers. I've been waiting for those spear enhancers too.
Man you got your Selene up quick. I've been throwing everything at her (except a brief interlude to get Lilith up to 20) and mine's only 57.
Is that Leadran Pike the raid weapon?

I've been putting cleric enhancers into Lilith, and everything else into Selene. She's already holding her own at level 27 compared with level 50 Arietta.
I need like 4 more cost to fit her in my party. I haven't been willing to remove Trystan from my party to make room for her and I have to keep Dusty in the subs since he has my volunteer sword. Trystan still has more attack than Selene and he's 15 levels behind her. If she didn't scale so well with limit breaks I'd call her completely useless.
Yeah, she is pretty much useless below LB3. I guess that was the point to get all of us to frantically spam stamina fruit during the WC.

Totally worth it though.
Yeah. Once she's fully leveled she'll have a huge attack and pretty good hp. Over 10k attack before weapon is insane.
