Did that business with the opening theme on the physical copy get sorted out?
Placed my order today.
Yep. They got rid of it and spared us from that garbage.
Will place order when I get home.

Let's hope everyone who said they would order does. These kinds of initiatives should never be discouraging for people willing to take the risk.
Our minimum to make it viable was/is 2500, so we had a poll of fans that would buy it if we offered a physical+digital version. We had a bit over 2700 that said they would buy it in the poll.
At this point we're relying on the fans that said they wanted it to come through. If we didin't hit the 2500 minimum, we'd have to just eat the loss because we're not going to cancel releasing it. We're too far down the road now to disappoint the fans. However, in the first 24 hours of the actual sales, we've had over 1300 physical+digital orders, so we're at about 50% of the poll number on day one.
Also, is there any way to increase the order limit in Amazon? I'd like to get 2 copies of the game, which means that I'll be paying $20 total in shipping since I'm in Singapore.
Do you have Javascript disabled? You'll need to enable it to place the order. Is anyone else having a problem ordering? The page loads but the Amazon link doesn't. The picture for the link loads, but the link isn't clickable.
I haven't really been following this very closely. Am I right to say that the only difference with the Kickstarter copies is the cover art?
I think in the email it said you could do that but go through the process twice.
Here we go "The Amazon "Buy" system only allows a sale of one reservation voucher per click, so if you want more, you need to repeat the process and check out for each one."
Do you have adblock or anti-tracking on?

I don't, I'm at work on IE9.
The response so far is pretty encouraging. We should be able to make the 2500 threshold by the 8th.
i'll be placing my order on friday. hopefully there's no random early cutoff lol.
Did I fuck it up? I didn't see any place to decide if I was in for the KS version or the regular version.
Or is Vic matching emails to confirm, or something?
Thanks in advance for the support!
Our digital download vouchers are limited, so the only way that would happen is if we had an intense burst of sales and went over 3000 units. At that point we'd have to end sales early and/or see if we could work something out with Sony to buy more in the package deal. But since that's 300 more than even the poll, I don't think that will happen.

The email sent directly (only) to Kickstarter backers is the only place with the link to the KS version. The link posted on our site, twitter, etc, and the emails we sent out to the people that signed up for the poll have the link to the regular version. One way you can easily tell which version you got after the fact is the price. I priced them slightly differently. The KS version is $36.95, the regular is $36.99.
oh. you think they'll be enough DD Voucher by friday? may have to just place an order today.
Until May 8th.
There's a mountain of information at the gaijinworks forum (gaijinworks.com/interact) from questions asked all day.
Are you sure anti-tracking is off? It's a blue circle with a slash through it next to the refresh icon. If it's on, buttons, etc often don't work.
Hey Victor -
Just wanted to say thanks so much for doing this. When Working Designs went down, I was sad. My father used to deliver mail to you and he actually was a voice actor on Magic Knight Rayearth. The reason I tell you this is because of his work, you gave him a copy of LUNAR - which he gave to me as my first JRPG ever.
JRPGs immediately became my favorite genre, and it is all thanks to Working Designs. I'm just elated that I'm from the same city, and that you're still here working on games. So thank you once again!
And of course I ordered a Kickstarter copy immediately after getting the email. I can't wait to get back into this!
(P.S. Elemental Gearbolt on the PSN store would be amazing!)
<Snip>
Got my order in. Glad that the digital code is going to be sent separate...probably will be the only sealed item i'll ever own lol.
Ah, is it going to be separate? Very good. I'm in your same position.
Same here. I didn't have any money at the time to support Vic's Kickstarter back then so if any KS backer can help me get a KS edition, that'll be swell. =]
Did my part and ordered... even if I'm not huge into the Wizardry-style dungeon crawler subgenre, I still have to support Vic any way I can...
A $5 donation to help get it funded wasn't that hard to swing (I'd totally understand if they only offered the $40 tier). =\
On the other hand, I put my money where my mouth is Vic and ordered. I appreciate you all doing this!
Crossposting because I didn't realize that there was another thread on this.
So I plan to order a Kickstarter copy of the game, but I have a question about the verification process. I use two different pseudonyms on both my Kickstarter account and the email associated with my Kickstarter account. My amazon account is also under a different name (well, my actual name) and email than either my Kickstarter-associated email or my Kickstarter account itself.
Since the verification process seems to rely matching up the names on the amazon, email, and Kickstarter accounts to ensure that they're all the same person, am I basically forced to change the name associated with my email to my Kickstarter pseudonym and then create a new amazon account using that pseudonym? Gmail's going to force me to open a Google+ account to be able to change the name on my account, even temporarily, so I'd rather not go through all of that if I know that I can avoid it.
Wow, that's a tough one. Did you forward the kickstarter email already?

I didn't. This is totally my fault for being so paranoid about using my real name with online accounts, and so I won't ask for any kind of workaround; I don't want you to violate the integrity of your verification system for one person because then that just defeats the whole purpose! I'll find some way to get the same name on everything.
Paranoia with your personal informaiton online isn't always a bad thing. It's better than the people that have no concept that the internet is written in ink and spew anything and everything on it, personal or not.
If you find you're stuck and can't work out the accounts, PM me and I'll hand-hold your order verification personally.
Great people like this deserve support. I've ordered 2 physical copies now... One to play, one to leave sealed.![]()
