Cliff ‘CliffyB’ Bleszinski Microsoft “you have my number” for GoW 6

Seems like he recently said something about hearing from someone in the know stuff about gears and he posted that now you have my attention meme... And now he says this. So maybe coalition is cooking something good and he wants in on it?

This number?

As an Xbox gamer who is nostalgic for the OG Xbox and the pre-Kinect X360 days, I would totally be down for Cliffy B becoming a Microsoft employee and returning Gears of War to its glory days.

The guys account got hacked or he is high as a kite, because a grown man cant be that stupid as to think this is a good public post.
He is not a grown man, he is Cliffy B

I made the mistake of seeing the replies on X

His wife says that her anus is clean and ready to go. She finishes the sentence with "your Highness"

He also says that Microsoft cant handle his edgelord atitude

Cliffy B is too much

No wonder Windows is such a buggy piece of crap.
These people spend more time with stupid pronouns, than programing and testing code.
Sony and M are literally in a contest for who can be the wokest big publisher of all time.

I think sony has the advantage for now, no M game was nearly as insulting as spidey 2.

Oh lord that is so cringe..Ill be honest i loved gears 1 and 2 and the games after he left have been inferior but damn I can understand why people wouldn't want to work with him.

I assume that Cliff would genuinely like to be back working on Gears, but also that there's zero chance of it happening.

Might as well ride on the coat tails of it when it's trending, I guess.

Shame though, it'd be a good PR move to get him in to work on it. Obviously completely impossible since his brand seems to be less about being a game developer now and more about, well, see tweets.

He's done nothing significant since Gears 3. He ventured off on his own and failed.

I'm surprised no big company has hired him. Either he's too picky or nobody wants him. He's a big enough name from the Epic days you'd think any company with a shooter game might wanna hire him.

Going back to old stomping grounds is common. I know lots of people who left their company, worked elsewhere and then low and behind returned. Grass isn't always greener at other companies. But returning all comes down to if the old company wants to rehire you back.

As I recall he got pretty jaded with the industry when lawbreakers imploded.

But time heals (most) wounds and I wouldn't be surprised if he's getting the itch again, making games was really a passion for him and not just a job.

Whatever happened to the phonecall from his lawyer about lawbreakers?
Probably went something like this:

Cliffyb: So how did it go? Did they like my proposal?

Lawyer: Not really. Nexon said they'll give you the shitty Lawbreakers IP back and PAY YOU $1 million to take it off their hands

Cliffyb: No way. I want $2 million from them

Lawyer: They said $1 million. They said they are willing to negotiate if you can prove you need them to dump it plus give you $2 million

Cliffyb: Just tell them the cost to make the game and server costs are $2 million, we'll get zero sales, and if I take Lawbreakers IP off their hands it'll make their games portfolio look better
