Both the GOP assholes did this many times. A recovering addict asked them a pretty blunt straight forward question and he just said how terrible her experience was and how strong she was before totally deflecting to the same tired talking points.

Didn't watch this yet, but to me the GOP has just failed spectacularly in selling why their healthcare proposals are better for the country than Obamacare. When pressed on why, they usually just crumble, or resort to "The states will know how to do it better!" with absolutely no actual plans from the states on actually how it will be better.

Will watch tonight.

Bernie makes a fantastic point about this. Before the ACA, governors had the power to create health care systems for their states. Only seven actually did though.

I love how the GOPs reason drug companies need all that money is so they will innovate because the only reason do make the world better is for profit.

Plus No mention that these new innovated drugs will be in anyway affordable to the common man.

Also love they assume State governments won’t screw over the general population. How blind are they?
