I think I might do the same, except I'll prestige on PS3,and stay at rank 50 on 360. Never tried it before. Really wasn't much incentive for me to do it in MW2.MidnightRider said:I'm going to prestige on one console but not the other...... i've decided.

Yep, that one building looks to have a broken spawn point. It looks like that little building doesn't have a large enough spawn influence zone or somehow isn't properly tied to the right domination point. Enemies seem to spawn in that building for no good reason all throughout that match. It's likely a bug in the spawn hints for the map; should be easy enough to patch.

360 by far, BUT I did put 30hrs or so into the PS3 version of MW2 (on top of the 60+ on 360 before moving on) and I did get used to it...eventually.
Is there any significant advantage from one platform to another? Black Ops has a major chance to steal me away from Reach which I thought I would NEVER say. MW2 was alright but IW's arrogance and refusal to interact with the community turned me off from that game. Trey looks to be much more responsive to the community and actually listen to what fans say and that's a big thing to me.

Seriously, there's gotta be a spawn bug cause they had C and were spawning near A the entire time..or nowhere near ANY point at all!. These maps are plenty spaced out, with lots of buildings and big enough for two teams to spawn without so much strangeness. On small maps strange things are bound to happen but not a medium sized map with about as much room and space as overgrown.

At around 5:15 you can see how messed up the spawning is. Two guys spawn n the opposite side of a half wall and start to run away before getting killed. Hopefully they fix that pretty quick considering it is something that would have been discussed in a wide beta.LeMaximilian said:

The framerate in all previous COD console games has been better on the 360 than PS3, so its probably safe to assume it will be this time as well.
The only platform with a significant advantage is of course the PC (dedi servers, higher player counts, lean, better graphics, more control options, 1080p, better framerate etc.)

Really? I have the PS3 version of MW2 and never had a framerate issue. I downloaded the 360 demo too and it felt exactly the same, just with different controls. So when it comes to choosing between ps3 and 360, I'd say it all comes down to your friend list. I have more friends over here with the ps3 version so thats what I'm getting. Waiting a month for the DLC won't be an issue.brain_stew said:

ps3 for me, but i wont be able to play it till like wednesday 1:30 in the morning ill play singleplayer straight through the night and be ready for multiplayer by at least 6 pm the same day.
i cant wait to play online, ill be able to see whats been up with my old mw2 crew as i couldnt take all the bullshit anymore and sold my copy back in july

It's a priority issue it seems. If you only have A then spawning near A should have priority in domination. It doesn't...for whatever reason.divisionbyzorro said:
Yeah, the spawn spots seem fine...if the situation was different. Inside buildings, in the corner of the maps, etc. It's just, ya know, there's an enemy in there at the time. So, it should have 0 priority especially in a tdm match. Hopefully it's an easy fix.
