Looks very good, and those are some hella impressive graphics for a PS2 game. A little disappointed that the enemies look like they are from KH though.

I have my eye on this one, its like techno rainbow with scifi vibe. Still have to laugh at how anything colorful or too "japanese" is auto kiddie here. The same games we played from nes gen on are suddenly now just for kids.

I just got the swedish Player 1 magazine and it had an extensive Code Age preview. It looks to be quite the game actually. I have a buuunch of shots waiting to be badly photographed by yours truly. Just give me the word. I guess I'm too lazy to translate the text, but there's a lot of swedes on this forum, so who knows...

Edit: Just looked through it again and I'm positive these shots doesn't to the game justice. :)

I really like the look of this. The people here who have already decided it's 'teh kiddy' because it's not filled with dirtied-up textures and 'grim, gritty' character designs should be hauled outside and beaten. :p ('Developers give us 'improvements' like the change in style from PoP to Warrior Within because of people like you!' *whap!* )

well....I don't think it looks kiddy. merely ugly. like a misuse of color. which isn't an anti-colorful sentiment. it seems a little busy in a bad way.

Isn't Yusuke Naora (FFVII,VIII,X,Front Mission 4, U:Saga) doing the designs for this?
Nope. Character designer is Toshiyuki Itahana, who also did the designs in Final Fantasy IX and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles.

Yusuke Naora, on the other hand, is really only taking a director role for this game, but I believe he is doing the character design/artwork for Code Age: Archives (manga):

At least, it looks like his work. :)
