I look down on my nose at anyone with less then 100% attendance.
This is why Alabama < Texas.

Oregon laughs at your paltry 100%.
We had 100.4% with a 7-5 record.
EDIT: Though A&M had a 105.04%, but I imagine most of those tickets were sold before they started to suck.
I heard that Alabama is going to change the official capacity of Bryant-Denny Stadium to 50,000. That way they can talk about how the stadiums is filled to 200% capacity each game!
Yeah, I don't understand it myself. How do they oversell? Is it standing room? The reporters on the field?

West Coast cares more than Least Coast. Shit's just sad for the BEAST and for much of the ACC.West Coast just don't care
I too, have always wondered this. I'm pretty sure that some schools count EVERYBODY, from the people with tickets, to the people with press passes, to the people working concessions. Maybe that's where the disparity comes from?

No, they have seats. I don't think we ever go over capacity when we report our attendance, or, if we do, it's only for the *big* games. In the past, I always assumed it was the "Ramp People" that created the overcapacity.

If Alabama beats LSU by a field goal, who will be #1 in the final polls?
God, I hope she's not sitting behind someone now. *shudder*Not that you can watch the games from the Ramps anymore.
Alabama would be #1 in Coaches Poll by contract. AP would be a toss-up. Probably LSU.

Indeed! "Only poll that counts."Which, by LSU TRIBAL LAW, means that Alabama would be the sole national champion of 2011.

The great thing about LSU is that they can't really claim an AP title.
Although given all the SEC mental gymnastics that went into justifying Turd of the Century II (though shockingly, not from our Bama fans...), I'd give it maybe .3 seconds before they'd flip it around and remember that they've always thought the AP was the only real poll.
Unless Bama blows out LSU in the MNC, I don't see how the AP ends up not voting LSU as #1.
They will have beaten Bama at home.
They will have a better strength of schedule.
They will be conference champions.
They beat the champions of two other conferences.
They will have a better overall record.
They beat USC?

Well, Wake Forest beat NC State (who beat Clemson) and Syracuse (who beat WVU).
Wake Forest for MNC!
They count the Fat People twice.
BTW: USCw with a turrible 79% capacity..
UCLA @ 62%
West Coast just don't care

Which team would be better than 13-1?

Former SMU standout and ESPN personality Craig James will file in Texas for the Republican U.S. Senate primary by end of day Thursday.
Good morning. Good morning. In less than a nanosecond, commenters from here will join others from around the world, and you will be launching the largest celebration in the history of mankind. Mankind, that word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences any more. We will be united in our common interest. Perhaps it's fate that today is the 13th of December, the day when New Zealand was discovered and claimed for the crown. We have discovered new countries before. We will now discover a new country again. A country free not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution, but from the annihilation of Craig James' toxic stupidity on our televisions. We're fighting for our right to live without him, to exist and should we win the day, the 13th of December will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declared in one voice, 'We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on, we're going to survive no matter how many PR companies are hired in the service of protecting our sons from hard work and real life.' Today, Texas' loss is our gain. Today we celebrate our independence day!
[CHEERS FOR A YEAR STRAIGHT LET'S ALL GET DRUNK ON PANCAKES AND LOCK OURSELVES IN CLOSETS OF CELEBRATION]
Craig James is going to run for the US Senate. Filing for R primary. If you love CFB, you'll vote for him to get him off TV
No One! Can only be tied by Houston, if they beat Penn State.
Just give the title to LSU, it's what you want.
LOL, why would I want LSU to get the title? I'm rooting for both teams to be ruled ineligible right before the game starts.
Just curious what you were talking about when you said LSU wouldn't have a better record than Bama. It's one of those things in sports that's black and white and not based on opinion.
I didn't say they "wouldn't" have a better record than Alabama.
I'm saying that EVERYONE will have a "worse" record than LSU.
So why did you cross out "they will have a better overall record"?
I think I cracked the case. He's saying overall record shouldn't matter because they wouldn't be ranked ahead of OSU if they lost even with a better record.(in an alternate reality where they played OSU instead.)
