I honestly feel like I've been seeing a different USC team, or possibly a different Oregon State team, than most of the pundits and writers and things I've seen around. Mandel picked OSU to win 21 to 16, but honestly that seems low to me.
USC's biggest deficiency is its terrible secondary, and Oregon State is a pass-happy team with leading passing stats in the country. They throw more than any other team in the Pac-12 besides Wazzu. Meanwhile USC's offense is stagnant at best. Not to mention that with all the injuries on the team in general, there's nobody backing up a lot of people at these positions, so if things get out of hand, they're gonna get out of hand in a hurry.
I'm not seeing it as a close game at all, I think Oregon State wins by 21.
